Unleashed today (November 5), the set served up a candid collection of songs that see the R&B songstress directly addressing a lot of drama in her private life; drama that has been a fixture in the headlines over the last year.
And it appears the set – which features the likes of Cardi B, SZA, and Ciara – resonating with audiences on the streamer.
For, as of writing, all 20 of the LP’s songs have placed in the top 20 of the US arm of the platform.
Suffice to say, this early slay ought to bode well for the album’s opening commercially.
