The title of Beyonce’s new album has been confirmed as ‘4’.
Speaking to Billboard magazine, the budding legend explained, “We all have special numbers in our lives, and 4 is that for me. It’s the day I was born. My mother’s birthday, and a lot of my friends’ birthdays, are on the fourth; April 4 is my wedding date”
She also went on to discuss her decision to part ways with her father and his management company, “It’s not that anything bad happened between us. My family has my support always, and they support me, but when you’ve been working with the same people for 15 years, it’s natural to eventually have your own ideas.”
Also revealing, “We were at a point where we’d do so much from each other, and now it’s exciting for me to do this on my own and hire my own team. I’ve started managing myself”
It is now safe to say that the force that is a Beyonce promotional campaign has begun. You ready?!

Well, that’s true. A title doesn’t reflect the type of music you’ll find on it, but there are titles so intriguing & interesting that complements an album perfectly.
Pink Floyd’s The dark side of the moon or Queen’s At Night of the opera are wonderful titles even though you don’t know what’s the significance behind.
A good title is the perfect complement to harmonize with the whole meaning of the album; rock bands seem to be a little too more worried when naming them and I do think it’s something to care about.
I’m not saying a lame title like Beyoncé’s is reference of how good or bad the album will be, just take Adele’s — I said her album title is awful but I have stated several times how pleasantly surprised I’m by her music- she’s great & 21 is fantastic.

Her focus shouldn’t be about that. I seriously believe that the “love” for this craft of singing is gone for her. When you love what you do, it comes from the heart and you can feel it in a person’s music. I don’t get that from Beyonce at all. It’s almost as if she’s just going through the motions now.
