Here at That Grape Juice, we love all things R&B! So, fittingly, we’ve teamed up with DJ Ace – one of the UK’s most revered R&B connoisseurs and host of BBC 1Xtra‘s weekly series Everything RNB (which airs Sundays at 10pm).
Each week he’ll be rounding up his latest show and previewing what’s upcoming on the next episode. Right here on That Grape Juice.
Without further ado, check out the latest installment with DJ Ace below…
Your boy Ace is back to put you onto some of the fresh stR&B from near and far. Let’s jump into this week’s #SPOTLIGHT3!
Sasha Keable – My Mind
‘Intermission’ is the long-awaited E.P from Sasha Keable. She says was 2 years in the making and was mostly inspired by her ex and the heartbreak she endured. ‘My Mind’ is a very honest and open account of the end of her 5-year relationship and all of the different emotions she experienced. Sasha perfectly poured her feelings into this track, it may just give you goosebumps!

Stalk Ashley – Complicated
I’ve been a fan of Jamaican R&B artist Stalk Ashley for a while now. I made ‘Summer 16’ one of my #SPOTLIGHT3 tracks a couple of months ago and she’s back with a dope EP entitled ‘Excuses, Pt.1’. ‘Complicated’ gives a middle finger to a toxic ex while reflecting on the time she wasted.

Jaz Karis – Home
The R&B girls are really in their emotional bag this week! Jaz Karis dropped her latest single ‘Home.’ The ballad is accompanied by visuals that show behind-the-scenes footage of her shows and travelling around the country.
‘Home’ details loving someone from afar, despite not being able to be together physically.
Posting on her Instagram page, Karis said: “Strangers turn into best friends, best friends turn into lovers, and lovers into strangers again, but where is Home?”
