It looks like Travis Scott is looking to reaffix the focus onto his music.

Specifically, his hotly anticipated new album ‘Utopia.’

As widely reported, Scott has been at the center of quite the storm following the tragic stampede at his Astroworld Festival which claimed the lives of 10 revelers (the youngest being just 10-years-old).

The casualties and injuries have birthed lawsuits that now total billions of dollars.

Save for a sit-down interview with Charlamagne Tha God, the star has largely avoided the spotlight.

Moments ago though, the MC ended a lengthy social media hiatus by posting a number of telling snaps on his Instagram Story.

Without a caption, the rapper shared a picture of headphones emblazoned with the name of the project.

Scott also posted a pic of himself on a beach, notable as hitmaker Wheezy recently revealed in an interview that he was jetting off to Cabo to finish off what will be Scott’s fourth studio effort.

Speaking to Billboard last week, he said:

“Yeah, still working on [Utopia] and putting the finishing touches on that. He’s back in Cabo working on it and I’m going out there soon. I’m going out there probably in the next two or three weeks to link up with him.” 

Suffice to say, it’ll be interesting to observe how the rapper navigates the album. Both musically and as relates to promotion.

‘Utopia’ serves as the follow-up to 2018’s mega-selling ‘Astroworld’ – which is home to Scott’s chart-topping smash ‘Sicko Mode (ft. Drake).’
