AMC Networks invites the masses to journey down ’61st Street’ this April.
Emmy Award winner Courtney B. Vance headlines the two-season event – which is executive produced by Michael B. Jordan by way of his Outlier Society imprint, David Shanks, and BAFTA-winner Peter Moffat.
The series uncovers the underbelly of the infamous Chicago criminal justice system; it follows the police and prosecutor investigation of a deadly drug bust that runs the risk of unraveling the cop code of silence.
Vance leads an ensemble cast, which includes Oscar-nominee Aunjanue Ellis, Mark O’Brien, Holt McCallany, Tosin Cole, Andrene Ward-Hammond, and Bentley Green.
