Christina Aguilera‘s life and illustrious career are set to serve as the subject of a rivetting new documentary.

Deadline reports that Xtina, her management Roc Nation, and Time Studios have teamed up to tell the songbird’s story raw and unfiltered in an incoming special.
Per the announcement, Aguilera will provide “unprecedented access” to her life story, and share never-before-seen moments that have fuelled her ascend from rising Pop princess to one of music’s most iconic and renowned talents.
The documentary will include boast a central focus on the diva’s role as an artist, mother, and advocate for creative, gender, and social equality.
Production has been underway for 18 months.
Time Studios’ Co-Head of Documentary, Loren Hammonds said in a statement:
“We are beyond excited to extend our creative partnership with Roc Nation through this film. Christina has been such an enduring talent and inimitable entertainer throughout the years. Hers is truly one of the great voices of our time, and this is the perfect moment for her story to be told. We are incredibly honored that she has chosen to work with TIME Studios and Roc Nation to finally share her truth with the world.”
Roc Nation’s EVP of TV and Film’s Lori York added:

The documentary’s director Ting Poo concluded:
