Taking to Instagram Friday (November 18), the 43-year-old not only revealed the title and cover artwork of her new album but shared news it will hit shelves February 17.
Her first studio effort since 2019’s ‘Hurts 2B Human’ topped the Billboard 200, the forthcoming LP was initially teased during her appearance on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ this week before ultimately being confirmed with details on ‘Good Morning America’ Friday morning.
“This album is the best album I’ve ever made,” she told the morning news show about ‘Trustfall.’ “I had time and I had a lot of really devastating things happen. It takes your kids getting sick to be like, ‘okay, none of this matters. I want to see my kids grow up. I want to only put truth into the world and be authentic.’ Then, my dad died and that was also a reminder of like, ‘all right I have a certain amount of time left. None of us are going to live forever, so how do I want to spend this time?'”

Oh no hunnie, judging by the lead single… the album ain’t it 💅🏾
Until she does something unique…hard pass.

I like that first single. It’s nothing that will change the game, but it’s a good uptempo funky track with live instruments, I’m here for that.
I hope she steps away from the usual Pop/Rock sound. I wish her well.
