Shortly ahead of making headlines for an arrest on battery charges stemming from an alleged bar altercation, R&B singer Jacquees was pounding the promo pavement in support of his latest album – the December 2022-released ‘Sincerely for You.’
Beyond a summer 2023 world tour that’s not only seen him conquer the United States but has scheduled touch downs in Australia, The Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Algeria, and other territories, the 29-year-old has continued to release music videos in support of the LP’s content. The latest to get the visual treatment is the Turbo-produced ‘Woman’s Worth.’
“I see your n-gga ain’t been puttin’ in the work (Nah) / Come get what you deserve (Come get what you deserve, come on) / You too good to get caught up with the worst / Yeah, I know a woman’s worth (Yeah, I know a woman’s worth),” he croons on the mid-tempo cut.
Accompanying the tune’s arrival with a cinematic clip supporting domestic violence survivors, see the BPace-directed action inside.
Lawd i truly don’t know how some artist these days even have fans with the horrible songs and below average singing. How TF does dude have a platform???? Has ever even had a song entry on the Billboard Hot 100?? Has he ever had a top 20 or 30 album?? Highly doubt either
Horrible songs and below average singing, I agree with that part but some of the most talented artists are underrated and don’t have the billboard accolades.
You know what my gripe is though?
This new generation of R&b singers sample way too much. This is a Jaheim sample.
Didn’t he just get arrested for biting and kicking a woman. Now he’s singing about one’s worth
This man is 🗑️🗑️🗑️
Happy 4th 💅🏾 Diva loves you guys so much! Thanks for the support thru all these years xoxo 😘 love ya
This is probably big in hood circles, and with people who have unpaid parking tickets, and upcoming court appearances. Good weed? Chile, I cannot with this new breed of r&b thugs and wanna bees. This is not it.
Best song on the album
Got that Jagged Edge sound.
Untalented little dwarf
I hate how he sings through his nose. This new crop of singers, especially male singers SUCKS!!! No charisma, originality or vocal skill or whatsoever. I recently saw Usher in Vegas and let’s just say he’s the last of a dying breed!!!
Jacquees is a Trap/R&B artist, lol
Same category as Bryson Tiller.
Neither of them are trying to sound like a Usher, Monica, Brandy, Luther Vandross, etc
People that like Traditional R&B will not like Trap/R&B music. It’s a whole different vibe/style on purpose.
I disagree. Jacques sound is nothing like Bryson’s. His music is more aligned with the Chris Brown’s and Ushers. You can tell he’s influenced by 2000’s R&B. His music isn’t even vulgar I can respect that.
You’re right!
His sound is more 2000’s R&B. He has experimented with the Trap/Soul tho on a few records (I can’t think of them all) and his collaborations with Future.
