Southern University may have emerged the victor at the 50th annual Bayou Classic showdown on Saturday (November 25), but it was Fantasia who scored the biggest touchdown with viewers.
Taking a break from promoting the December 25-due ‘Color Purple,’ the GRAMMY winner took New Orleans’ Caesars Superdome by storm when she hit the field during the football game’s halftime show to rock out some of her biggest songs like ‘When I See U’ and more with the SU marching band.
Did you miss the action when it first aired? No worries; we’ve got you covered.
We need new music, Fanny Boo! We miss you. Come on back.
Shhhh don’t tell anybody that i told you, but word is the next album is going to be a Gospel album.
It was hard to hear her bg singers over the band ☹️ They should have pre recorded their vocals but I understand Fantasia and her peoples mics are ALWAYS on. Other than that Fanny killed per usual. When I See You is an RNB classic & her catalogue deserves its flowers. Sidenote Fantasia is THIQUE THIQUE ok and looked amazing!!!
Great performance, the fact that you could actually hear her over the band and she did not sound like she was screaming, nice job. Just shows Fantasia can perform in any setting.
Fantasia is a world class performer! She should be on so many stages internationally. Her time is now!
Ashy flop
I love Fantasia performance it took me back when superbowl would feature Soul R&B halftime I wished she had more time. Now superbowl go back to how you use do it
