Despite being one of R&B’s most underrated gems, Chante Moore is easily one of the most consistent concert draws of her class thanks to a diehard fanbase that continues to pack venues in support of her runs on the live music circuit.
In late 2023 the R&B diva announced her latest Stateside jaunt – the ‘Sway and Slay Tour’ – would see dates spill over into 2024 with major U.S. markets like New York, Boston, Nashville, and Atlanta on the list.
Already winning rave reviews from concertgoers in Chicago and other metros, Moore got more of that energy from Houston attendees when she took to the city’s Arena Theatre recently to crank out fan favorites like ‘It’s Alright,’ ‘Love’s Taken Over,’ and more.
During a special segment of the show, however, the songstress paid tribute to groundbreaking divas before her like Madonna, Janet Jackson, and Sade by launching into some of their biggest hits.
Look inside to see how she fared.

This woman can really sing her asss off. It’s a shame that she’s always relegated to tribute performances and small gigs.
Her own songs work a lot better for her. This was just odd.
Chante can sing, but this was pitchy.
I’ve been a fan of Chante since her “Stripped” era – so underrated.
