The NFL is doubling down on its relationship with Jay-Z‘s Roc Nation amid the rapper’s sexual assault lawsuit.

As reported, the mogul is battling allegations that he r*ped a minor in 2000 alongside following an award show.
Hitting back hard, the MC has deemed the claims “extortion” and a “blackmail attempt” by the Jane Doe’s Tony Buzbee.
Jay’s legal team has fired off a number of clapbacks – including a demand for the accuser not to be allowed to proceed anonymously.
While some mulled over whether the situation would impact the superstar’s many business endeavors, including Roc Nation’s role producing the Super Bowl Halftime Show, the NFL has made an emphatic statement insisting it won’t affect anything on their end.
NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said:
“We are aware of the civil allegations and Jay Z’s really strong response to that. We know obviously that litigation is happening. But from our standpoint our relationship is not changing with them, including our preparations for the next Super Bowl.”
He continued:
“I think they’re getting incredibly comfortable with not just the Super Bowl but other events that they have advised us on and helped us with. They’ve been helpful in the social justice area to us on many occasions. They’ve been great partners that have provided a lot of value to us.”
Most of y’all really fail to understand what a criminal case is with actual evidence instead of a class action lawsuit when someone can just sign up with a story without any evidence.
Buzbee is the same BS trash lawer who filed all those lawsuit against Deshaun Watson despite two separate Grand juries declined to charge him with one crime.
It’s no coincidence that all this information came out literally the night before the Lion King movie premiere and red carpet event. Where that garbage lawyer knew jay Z would be attending with his wife and daughter. It’s all about pressure and creating fear of shame with these trash lawsuits and lawyers. SMDH
