Shannon Sharpe is coming out swinging and suing.

The ESPN host took Instagram Tuesday morning (April 22) to slam the explosive rape allegations made against him, calling the lawsuit “a shakedown.” Sharpe claims the suit filed by Jane Doe is a calculated attempt to ruin his name, and he’s pointing the finger directly at her attorney, Tony Buzbee.
Sharpe declared:
“Tony Buzbee targets Black men.”
The controversial attorney, however, is already turning up the heat, releasing an audio clip he claims captures Sharpe using “disturbing, aggressive and dangerous” language. Sharpe didn’t respond to the clip directly but accused Buzbee of manipulating other evidence.
Referring to a sex tape, which Sharpe claims Buzbee edited, he said:
“That video should actually be 10 minutes or so.”
Sharpe closed his statement with a promise:
“I’m going to drag [them] to court for defamation and trying to take me down.”
