Mary J. Blige has broken her silence in the wake of a shock lawsuit filed against her by former friend Misa Hylton.

As reported, the Queen of Hip-Hop/Soul has found herself at the center of a legal wrangle with the stylist, with whom she has shared a lengthy bond for three decades.
Hylton alleges Blige sabotaged her working relationship with rapper Vado, and she’s seeking seismic damages.
And while it remains to be seen how the ‘No More Drama’ singer plans to respond legally, she took to X (formerly Twitter) with a telling message.
In her first remarks since news broke of the lawsuit, Blige wrote:
“If people don’t reciprocate your love, time, and energy they are not good investments. Get rid of them asap and take care of you.”
