Disney’s Andscape has lifted the lid on the gripping first trailer for ‘The Man in My Basement,’ the psychological drama headlined by Corey Hawkins, Willem Dafoe, and Anna Diop.

Set in Sag Harbor, New York, the story centres on Charles Blakely played by Hawkins, a man drowning in debt and facing the loss of his ancestral home.
Salvation or so it seems, arrives in the form of Anniston Bennet played by Dafoe, a wealthy stranger offering to rent Blakely’s basement for the summer in exchange for a life-changing payout. But as the arrangement unfolds, it spirals into a chilling confrontation with buried histories, racial tensions, and the sinister secrets both men carry.
‘The Man in My Basement’ hits theatres on September 12, with Hulu and Disney+ releases to follow this fall.
