Nearly seven months after first introducing her beloved fans (affectionately called #Tamartians) to ‘You on You,’ R&B diva Tamar Braxton has finally given the cut the official music video treatment.
Released in celebration of its November 7-dropped parent project, ‘Heartbreak Retrograde,‘ the Slick Two Three and Jamaal Avery-directed affair sees Braxton bring the song to life via a performance-style visual.
“I can’t be any clearer / I know you’re in your feelings / And I bet it feel familiar But you still don’t have a clue / I just pulled a you on you (I just pulled a you on you),” she sings on the cut that prominently samples Suzanne Vega‘s 1987 smash ‘Tom’s Diner.’

Tamar needs to go pop’nb. Girlish voice, OTP persona, functional oddball like Kenya Moore. White folks would LOVE her!
