A Miami federal jury ruled in her favor in a defamation lawsuit against blogger Milagro Gramz.
Megan accused Gramz of working alongside Tory Lanez to spread hateful rumors and amplify a non-consensual deepfake pornographic video featuring the ‘Lover Girl’ rapper.
After two days of deliberations, jurors found Gramz liable for defamation, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and helping boost the reach of the explicit deepfake content, according to Legal Affairs & Trials.
The jury awarded Megan, $75,000 in damages. Under Florida law, Gramz will also be responsible for covering Megan’s legal fees tied to the video’s promotion.
This ruling marks yet another chapter closed in the long-running legal saga involving Megan and Lanez.
With this case behind her, the rapper can hopefully continue moving forward professionally and personally as she embarks on a new romance with NBA star Klay Thompson.
