The update came during a video message Wayne recorded to congratulate B.G. on his engagement to Brooke Jones.
However, viewers quickly noticed that Cannon was standing behind Wayne throughout the clip. That alone sparked chatter, especially given how publicly the Young Money maestro had addressed their breakup earlier this year.
Wayne then confirmed the bigger news: he and Cannon are now officially engaged.
The reveal marks quite the U-turn.
A few months ago, reports suggested that the couple had already taken that step, but Wayne shut the speculation down and shared that they had instead called it quits. At the time, he said the split was necessary to protect Cannon.
