With the likes of One Direction and The Wanted dominating the Pop charts in the US, it seems no time is better than the present to inject some”UK” into the Urban diaspora there.
Cue Emeli Sande; the Scottish songbird who has taken the British charts by storm. A Platinum-selling storm at that.
Watch as she makes her 106 & Park debut with a wholly rousing performance of her premiere US single ‘Next To Me’ …
Kudos to Ms. Sande for, once again, showing that she is all sorts of “the business”. If there’s any justice in the world, her cause will take off Stateside just as it has on home-turf. Peep her interview with Rocsi below…

Amazing and humble! I hope she slays like Adele has. UK represents!
I am SO feeling her!
Smart, talented (sings wonderfully & plays the piano & writes) & beautiful.

Wack and she won’t slay like Adele….Adele writes in a way thats much more direct and she’s much more interesting
She killed it,she was vocally tired but she did great like always
I like her. She seems intelligent and honest; plus she’s very talented. Can’t wait to see how she transitions into the states. I will say this- I’m glad there is a wave of new artists making it into the scene, ’cause this music industry has become sooooooooo boring. It’s stagnant and is stuck on one note. Where has all the creativity gone? Aren’t artist’s supposed to push the boundaries? Those are my two cents… =)
