The two-week Billboard 200 stay of Miley Cyrus‘ May-released studio album ‘Something Beautiful‘ may have marked a personal milestone for the Pop diva all the wrong reasons, but she’s not giving up on the critically acclaimed project yet.

Expanding the LP’s 13-song tracklist to 15 songs, Miley’s tapped some legendary company to accompany her on the ‘Beautiful’ repackage including David Byrne of Talking Heads as well as Lindsey Buckingham and Mick Fleetwood of Fleetwood Mac.

The latter play assistants on her September 19-released single ‘Secrets.’

“Secrets, I wanna keep your secrets / Like sunlight in the shadows / Like footsteps in the grass / I won’t ever break my promise,” she wails on the tune’s opening verse.

Cardi B quietly made history with the announcement of the tracklist for her sophomore album ‘Am I the Drama‘ when she revealed none other than Pop Queen Janet Jackson was among its star-studded list of features.

Despite boasting a tally of high-profile superstars like Selena Gomez, Summer Walker, Lizzo, Megan Thee Stallion, and more, Jackson’s presence came as a historic standout because it made Cardi the first woman to ever land a feature from the music royal over her 40-plus-year career.

Unique but true, their union borrows elements from Janet’s own 1987 smash ‘The Pleasure Principle‘ found on her breakthrough ‘Control‘ album from 1986.

“Ayy, it’s the principle, the principle, ayy / Can’t be out here playin’ with a b-tch like me (Why?) / These n–gas out here prayin’ for a b-tch like me,” Cardi raps over Dizzy Banko production.

After watching their inaugural collaboration, ‘Ring,’ shine at a #28 peak on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2018, Cardi B and Kehlani are tag teaming again with hopes of reaching even higher heights on the tally.

Their newest collaboration, ‘Safe,’ is one of many gems found aboard ‘Am I the Drama‘ – Cardi’s long-awaited sophomore album released on Friday (September 19).

“I know that it’s on you right now  / I’m feelin’ right at home, safe in your arms, baby, come hold mе down  / Safе like a key and a lock on me, safe like a crib with the combo, please / Hold you down,” the Rap diva spits over DJ SwanQo production.

Seven years have separated fans of Cardi B (affectionately called #BardiGang) from the Rap diva’s last studio effort, 2018’s blockbuster ‘Invasion of Privacy,‘ but the long wait for its follow-up ended with the arrival of ‘Am I the Drama?’ on Friday (September 19).

A 23-track affair boasting an eclectic mix of guest stars including Janet Jackson, Megan Thee Stallion, Lizzo, Tyla, Kehlani, Selena Gomez, Summer Walker, and more, the project’s delivery to digital shelves was preceded by chart-topping hits ‘WAP‘ and ‘Up‘ as well as the top 10 smash ‘Outside.’

What’s more, the LP collected some of the biggest producers in Urban music to lend their talents including London on Da Track, Pardison Fontaine, TM88, DJ SwanQo, Charlie Heat, Go Grizzly, and B100.

Chance The Rapper appears to embrace the mantra that seven is the number of perfection.

The MC recently released ‘Star Line,’ his long-awaited sophomore album, which arrived seven years after his debut LP ‘The Big Day.’

Stacked with collaborations with the likes of Lil Wayne, Jazmine Sullivan, Vic Mensa, and Young Thug, the project has been praised by critics.
