Jessie J wowed at Wembley Stadium at the Capital FM Summertime Ball 2025.

A beacon of bravery and perseverance, the songbird’s showing comes just days after she opened up about a personal health diagnosis.

Powering through, the British belter delivered a rousing set comprised of her biggest hits and a few new ones too.

For, she blazed the stage with ‘Bang Bang,’ ‘Price Tag,’ and ‘Do It Like A Dude,’ as well as her recent singles ‘No Secrets’ and Living My Best Life.’

The vocal supernova joined a stacked lineup that included Mariah Carey, Will Smith & DJ Jazzy Jeff, Tate McRae, Benson Boone, Jade, Rita Ora, and more.

Jade showed up and showed out at the Capital FM Summertime Ball 2025.

Housed at the world-renowned Wembley Stadium, the seismic event saw the Little Mix graduate wow with material from her forthcoming solo album debut, ‘That’s Just Showbiz Baby.’

Backed by a troop of energized dancers, Jade delivered dynamite showings of anthems ‘Angel of My Dreams’ and ‘FUFN.’

Jade joined a stacked lineup that included Mariah Carey, Will Smith & DJ Jazzy Jeff, Tate McRae, Benson Boone, Jessie J, Rita Ora, and more.

Gospel monarch Cece Winans got a royal welcome to NPR’s Tiny Desk on Friday (June 13) in celebration of Black Music Month.

As reported here, the 17-time GRAMMY winner was among the star-studded lineup of performers tapped to use the platform to tribute the milestone anniversaries of their landmark albums. And, with October marking the 30th anniversary of Cece’s debut solo album – 1995’s ‘Alone in His Presence‘ –  the Gospel diva was more than a fitting pick to rock an acoustic set in the NPR office.

Mariah Carey Debuts 'Type Dangerous' Video

Mariah Carey has unwrapped the video for her blazing new single ‘Type Dangerous.’

And, as the age-old adage goes, “a diva is never late, everyone is just early.” Because, while the visual was reportedly set to premiere yesterday (June 13), it’s arrived right on time.

Directed by Joseph Kahn, the cinematic clip serves as the first to be lifted from Mimi’s forthcoming 16th studio album. Eagerly anticipated, the vid features Mr. Beast.

As reported, the LP will be released on buzzy new label, Gamma Records (who count Apple Music as one of its titan-sized investors).

Will Smith‘s musical comeback, the March-released ‘Based on a True Story,’ may have hit a sour note commercially and critically but that’s not deterred the GRAMMY and Academy Award from pressing forward on the music front.

Beyond a European tour that’s loading, Smith is back with the new song ‘Pretty Girls.’

“All the pretty girls, put your drink up / I’ll get you anything you think of / I like BBLs / That stand for ‘Bad b—es link up,’” Will spits over OmArr production.

Released Friday (June 13), the cut’s arrival was accompanied by an official music video directed by Conor Cunningham.

Kehlani is putting the drama behind her and getting back to business with new single ‘Folded.’

Released Friday (June 13), the new song sees her reunite with producer Khris Riddick-Tynes – the mastermind behind her 2024 hit ‘After Hours.’

“It’s so silly of me to act like I don’t need you bad / When all, all I can think about is us since I seen you last,” she sings on the opening verse of the mid-tempo groove.

Her first taste of new music since thrilling fans with last August’s ‘While We Wait 2,’ hop under the fold to get familiar with ‘Folded.’

GloRilla unexpectedly found herself in the middle of controversy earlier this week after winning the year’s Dr. Bobby Jones Best Gospel/Inspirational Award at the 2025 BET Awards on Monday (June 9).

Triumphing over genre staples like Maverick City Music, Tamela Winn, Yolanda Adams, and others, the victory earned her and the network quite the side-eye from some viewers – particularly because Glo, the most successful female rapper of 2024, lost in every other category she was nominated for.

Leading the charge against BET for honoring genre “outsiders” in the Gospel field was singer-songwriter Deitrick Haddon who dropped jaws when he spoke out and called the femcee’s win “discouraging and disappointing.”
