Based on Christian Keyes’ book ‘Ladies Night,’ the hour-long show (which Keyes is co-writing) revolves around the layered life of Marilyn ‘Madam’ DeVille (played by Marcille).

She’s a fierce and fiery businesswoman, who has strut her way to the top of the nightclub and male exotic dancing scene. 

Propped up by trusted loyalists, her reign looks unshakeable.

However, as the age-old adage goes, more money and more power tend to spell more problems – and such is the case for Madam.

Helmed by Tyler Perry Studios, the 10-episode series premieres this summer on BET+.

Lil Nas X marked the release of his controversial new single ‘Montero (Call Me By Your Name)’ by penning an open letter to his younger self.

The 21-year-old came out as a member of the LGBTQ community at the height of the popularity of breakout smash ‘Old Town Road’ in 2019 and has increasingly used his platform to express himself as authentically as he can.
