6ix9ine‘s not unaware of the running joke about his status as a ‘snitch’ – a predicament he waxed honest about in a recent interview with FOX 5 New York.
Hot on the promo trail for his sophomore album, ‘Tattletales’ (click here to stream), the project’s title serves as his attempt to hit back at enduring ridicule he’s suffered since cooperating with federal agents to uncover the alleged illegal practices of his former Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods associates.
Said cooperation helped encourage his own release from jail (alongside being “high risk” for COVID-19 as we reported here). The hit rapper followed his prison run by going into a 4-month stint on home incarceration under the GPS supervision of a probation officer.
Throughout the ordeal, 6ix9ine says he suffered a number of mental health challenges including a depression that led him to suicide contemplation.
