Thanks to the premiere of new song ‘Lottery,’ March 13 is proving itself a lucky day for Dinah Jane fans.

The Fifth Harmony alum has been accumulating ample buzz for her solo efforts as of late and one listen to her newest tune will prove that growing excitement is worth it (all pun intended).

Telling a tale of a ‘good girl gone bad,’ the cut sees Jane exclaim:

“You might have won the lottery / You cashin’ out with every part of me / You might have won the lottery, yeah / It ain’t no secret when we are alone / Put in that nasty when we make it home,” she sings on the chorus.

Wringing wet with sensuality, this mid-tempo bop is undoubtedly just what the love doctor ordered.  Hear it inside:

When it comes to playing double duty in front of and behind the scenes, there is arguably no other singer-songwriter this century who can boast the critical and commercial acclaim Ne-Yo has.  In addition to penning top hits for some of the industry’s biggest stars, the early part of his career saw that penmanship lend himself a few chart-toppers as well.

However, as the latter half of his tenure has seen success wane, the Grammy winner (born Shaffer Smith) – as revealed in a recent sit-down with Joe Budden‘s Web series ‘Pull Up’ – opted to take time off to regroup.  Over the course of that hiatus, he dealt with a highly publicized split from wife Crystal Smith (as we reported here).

That incident not only inspired his latest single, ‘Pinky Ring’ featuring O.T. Genasis (click here to listen), but a wealth of the content found aboard his forthcoming album, the yet-titled follow-up to 2018’s ‘Good Man’ – his worst performing LP to date.

Look inside to hear him wax honest about his career status, relationship with Crystal since the divorce announcement, and so much more:

Post Malone fans took to social media in droves last week to express worry for the Rap superstar after he exhibited ‘bizarre behavior’ at a concert in Nashville (March 4).

Hot on his ‘Runaway Tour,’ Malone fell on stage while delivering a live rendition of his single, I Fall Apart.’  Captured by several fan-recorded videos, concertgoer concern only increased as he tumbled throughout the night’s performance – even struggling to regain his balance in some instances.

After the story made its rounds (as we reported here), the ‘Better Now’ performer – while in concert at Memphis’ Fed Ex Forum (March 7) – addressed fears about his health and reports his peculiar behavior was due to substance abuse.

The Billboard 200’s top 5 is set to see some serious girl power next week thanks to two of Urban music’s most highly anticipated sets – Jhené Aiko‘s third album, ‘Chilombo,’ and Megan Thee Stallion‘s, ‘Suga.’

The former, the first effort from Aiko since peaking at #5 with 2017’s ‘Trip,’ is already winning on the critical front as it’s nabbed thumbs up from some of the industry’s most respected critics.  A star-studded, 20-song affair featuring the likes of Nas, Big Sean, H.E.R., John Legend, Ab-Soul, Ty Dolla $ign, Future, Miguel, and more, analysts are reporting early reads of ‘Chilombo’s sales suggest the LP could deliver the highest Billboard 200 premiere of her career to date.

Conversely, ‘Suga’ – the newest EP from Stallion – may have a limited guest list (only Kehlani and rapper Gunna), but what it lacks in features it makes up in star power behind the board.  Boasting production credits from The Neptunes, Timbaland, Lil Ju, J-White, Helluva, Tommy Brown, and more, predictive data suggests ‘Suga’ could be the first Billboard top 5 entry of the Houston hottie’s career.

It’s been over two years since Jhené Aiko fans have been able to boast ownership of a new studio album from the 31-year-old, but the wait ended Friday (March 6) with the arrival of her third LP, ‘Chilombo.’ An ode to her family name, the set’s title derives from the singer’s full moniker (Jhené Aiko Efuru Chilombo).

A 20-track affair, the effort was first brought to public consciousness via the R&B hits “Triggered (freestyle)” and “P*$$y Fairy (OTW)” before treating fans with the Future and Miguel-assisted “Happiness Over Everything.”  The latter houses just two of many high profile features on ‘Chilombo’ as it also boasts appearances from boyfriend Big Sean, H.E.R., John Legend,  Nas, Ty Dolla $ign, her father, Dr. Chill, and many more.

After a lengthy absence from charts and radio, Pop diva Demi Lovato burst back onto the scene in January with the soul baring ‘Anyone’ – a heart-wrenching tune that saw the 27-year-old address her highly publicized battle with drugs and more (click here to listen).

Peaking at #34 on the Hot 100, the response to the track not only served as indication Lovato was missed but also that fans were hungry for new music.  Now, answer to that call comes in the form of new single ‘I Love Me.’

Teased in earnest via social media (and a stop by ‘Ellen’ recently), anxious fans can finally get their eyes and ears on the full song and its accompanying video.

Over it is a pretty accurate description of how breakout R&B star Summer Walker is feeling after being slammed for what many are deeming xenophobic remarks related to the coronavirus epidemic.

Earlier this week (March 3), the 23-year-old was the brunt of backlash after taking to Instagram to repost a fake video that depicted people in China intentionally spreading the disease.  Alongside the visual she commented:

“That’s some trifling nasty a** s**t.”

After being criticized for the insensitivity of the clip’s nature, Walker responded:

“Lol people so dumb, talking about I’m racist and that video was from a long time ago. It don’t matter if it was from 20 years ago, bottom line that s**t nasty & IDGAF if a black white yellow or green person did that s**t, it’s still nasty,” she stated.

That’s not all she said.  More inside:

Rihanna has remained all sorts of silent about her new album – much to the frustration of her fans.

This year marks four years since the Bajan belle released her eighth effort ‘ANTI,’ which managed to find its footing after a number of hiccups and false-starts.

In the time since, RiRi has established herself as a entrepreneurial force with her Fenty empire.

Still, this hasn’t quelled excitement for fresh material. If anything, the hiatus  has heightened the buzz.

But despite promise of a 2019 release, there’s still no album.

With The Navy swarming any and every post their leader shares on social media, she’s finally responding.

John Legend is heading out on the road!

The soulful crooner, who has recently embraced the title of ‘The King Of Valentine’s Day,’ is celebrating the season by announcing the ‘Bigger Love 2020 Tour.’

Hot on the heels of the EGOT winner’s recent triumph at the GRAMMYs (where he took home an award for DJ Khaled/Nipsey Hussle collab ‘Higher’), the unveiling of the dates comes after the release of ‘Conversations In The Dark.’ A song which, after receiving a prominent place in NBC’s ‘This Is Us,’ topped iTunes at the start of this year.

Armed with all this momentum and a whole lot of love to give (on stage), it looks like Legend will be super busy when the trek kicks off in the summer.
