Triple threat diva Jennifer Lopez is no stranger to tapping R&B’s hottest crooners to offer her assistance on a track and, as her latest musical endeavor demonstrates, she doesn’t plan on stopping any time soon.

As we reported here, she’s now teamed with Trey Songz for the duet ‘What You Mean To Me,’ found aboard the ‘Finding Neverland: The Album’ project (based on the Broadway production adapted from the 2004 London-set film about playwright J.M. Barrie, portrayed by Johnny Depp).

Fact: Despite being greeted with mixed critical review, ‘Non-Fiction,’ the latest album from serial hitmaker Ne-yo, is bound to break into the Billboard 200’s top 10 upon the chart’s refreshing next week.  Coming as the only new title predicted to impact the chart’s currently reigning dectet, the album will give the singer-songwriter his sixth consecutive top 10 entry.

Fueled by the Jeezy-assisted ‘Money Can’t Buy’ and top 40 hit ‘She Knows’ ft. Juicy J, ‘Non-Fiction’ is set to be the crooner’s second release to hit charts without a top 10 single to support it.  A feat arguably to blame for its first week sales performance, as the project is on track to deliver his lowest numbers to date.

It may be hard to believe, but Ne-Yo has been blazing the charts for almost a decade.

During a promo trip to Big Boy In The Neighborhood this week, the ‘She Knows’ chanteur served up a potent reminder in the most unique way.

There to promote new album ‘Non-Fiction’ (due January 28th), the singer/songwriter was challenged to perform a non-stop medley of his biggest hits.

He obliged and turned in an impressive showing.

2015 is set to be kicked off with releases from two of contemporary R&B’s most prized singer/songwriters – Jazmine Sullivan and Ne-Yo.

With ‘Reality’ and ‘Non-Fiction’ respectively, the ‘You Get On My Nerves’ co-stars will get to compete on the Billboard 200 with their highly anticipated top of the year releases.  January 13th will see Jazmine Sullivan finally gift fans her long-awaited third album ‘Reality Show’ while R&B/pop crooner Ne-Yo will follow shortly after with his album ‘Non-Fiction’ on January 27th.

With November creeping on, anticipation for Rihanna‘s eighth McAlbum continues to escalate.

Oddly, the set is taking much longer to cook than its predecessors and has seen the 26-year-old maintain a lengthy spell out of the spotlight – while the likes of Katy Perry, Taylor Swift and Beyonce have dominated the Pop landscape.
