Ne-Yo is set to make the UK glow a shade of ‘R.E.D’ next year. For, the singer-songwriter has announced a series of live arena dates in the territory in support of his album of the same name.

The short jaunt is designed to embrace the star’s global superstar status; a status which saw him achieve his fourth UK #1 with ‘Let Me Love You’. What’s more, the feat serves as the first British chart-topper his record label Motown have had in over 20 years.

Though due next year, Beyonce‘s fifth studio album is already the hottest topic on the lips of many, thanks in part to her upcoming Super Bowl performance, newly announced Pepsi deal, as well as a docu-movie on HBO.

More than anything, though, it’s the secrecy surrounding the project that has anticipation boiling to fever pitch. However, bit by bit information surrounding the actual music is beginning to treacle out. Indeed, the last few weeks have seen the involvement of The-Dream, Miguel, among others confirmed.

For Tamar Braxton, the last 24 hours have been nothing short of a blessing.

Hitting the net with her scorching new single ‘Love & War‘, the last few hours have seen the cut ascend on iTunes like a bat out of hell, and is now on spot away from hitting #1. Yes, you read that right, #1.

However, in the case any doubted the true reach of the singer’s commercial power, tonight has seen her enter territory many a R&B rival has tried- and failed- to match. Territory, by the name of the UK charts.

Having exceeded initial sales expectations Ne-Yo is leaving no stage untouched in the push for his latest LP, ‘R.E.D’.

Motown’s new Head of A&R took front stage center on the Jimmy Kimmel Live show last night, rocking out to his Hot 100 smash ‘Let Me Love You’ (which currently sits at #8 on the tally), returning to rouse his R&B fans with a live rendition of new Urban single ‘Don’t Make ‘Em Like You’.

With her new LP ‘Unapologetic‘ fast approaching, the pressure is on for Island’s Rihanna to nab a #1 single in time for its release. This, if she is to duplicate or better feats secured by 2011’s ‘Talk That Talk’ and its lead single ‘We Found Love‘.

An acronym for ‘Realizing Every Dream’, the set has already birthed hits such as ‘Lazy Love’ and ‘Let Me Love You’, with the album itself boasting many more smash-worthy tracks.

This is shaping up to be some awards show!

Indeed, joining the previously reported performers John Legend and Fantasia, news has surfaced that ‘Trust & Believe’ beauty Keyshia Cole will be hitting the 2012 Soul Train Award stage.

The addition to the roster, which will also include Ne-Yo, Anthony Hamilton, 2 Chainz, Gladys Knight, Elle Varner, Raphael Saadiq, and Marcus Canty (among others).  As previously reported, this year’s showing will honor 80s boyband New Edition.

After months of anticipation, November 6th marks the release of Ne-Yo‘s phenomenal new album ‘R.E.D‘.

Boasting collabs and contributions from Sia, Diddy, Tim McGraw and Wiz Khalifa , the heartfelt piece received a sweet dose of promo today when the singer took to ‘The View’ to perform its lead single, ‘Let Me Love You‘.
