The 2010s permanently changed the Pop music landscape.

From the rise of independent artists to streaming becoming the primary means of consumption and more, the decade simultaneously gifted and cursed the entertainment genre in ways that will undoubtedly be imprinted for years to come.

Yet, while some artists were unable to weather the challenges of the evolving industry, a select few not only navigated the storms but turned the tide to become icons among their generation of musicians. Boasting Beyoncé‘s game changing digital drop and Lady Gaga‘s history-making‘Star is Born’ run to Drake and Ariana Grande‘s blockbuster domination of Spotify, the decade’s set the bar to almost unreachable heights for its successors.

Alas, only one stands above the rest.

As the decade draws to close, many-a-publication lists Taylor Swift as its champion while others have crowned the likes of Kanye West, Rihanna, or Bruno Mars as the act most deserving of the title.

Beyonce is one step closer to possible Oscar glory.

As anticipation builds for the 92nd ceremony, the Academy have announced the shortlist for a number of key categories – a list which notably includes the Best Original Song.

Not to be confused with the nominations, the 15 tracks selected were picked from 75 possible songs eligible in the category.

Kevin Hart is renown firing up the funny with his stand-up specials and box office blockbusters.

Yet, for his latest team up with Netflix, he’s driving in a much more personal direction.

A camera-crew captured a year in the life of the pint-sized titan, which will stream as the title ‘Kevin Hart: Don’t F*ck This Up.’

Due on Netflix December 27th, the six-part docuseries invites the masses behind the scenes of one of modern Hollywood’s most notable names.

Refusing to shy away from the heights and hardships of Harts fame, it’ll see him wax honest about the allegations of homophobia that led to him stepping down as host of the Oscars. It’ll also veer into the cheating scandal, screening insights from his wife Eniko Hart. All of this will sewn together with diary-style commentary from the star, as well as clips of him in his comedic element.
