Mark those calendars, because next Valentine’s Day brings with it the release of ‘The Photograph’ – starring Issa Rae and LaKeith Stanfield.

The film unpacks a multi-layered love story, one which centers on forgiveness and finding the courage to seek the truth, regardless of where it leads.

It takes its title from a mysterious photograph Mae Morton (played by Rae) finds in her deceased mother’s belongings. That discovery uniquely aligns her path with rising journalist Michael Block (Stanfield) and ignites quite the narrative.

Ahead of its February 14th arrival, check out the first look trailer for the flick (which Rae is co-producing with Will Packer) below…

Sam Smith sprinkles a little sparkle onto the airwaves with new single ‘I Feel Love.’

The British belter bills their take on the Donna Summer track as “the highest I’ve ever sung.” But also went onto share a deeper reasoning for recording the track:

“As a queer person ‘I feel love’ has followed me to every dance floor in every queer space from the minute I started clubbing. This song to me is an anthem of our community and it was an honour and most importantly so much fun to have a go at it…”

‘I Feel Love’ follows ‘How Do You Sleep?’ and ‘Dancing With A Stranger,’ both of which are expected to appear on Smith’s upcoming third studio album.

It’s been over two decades since Mariah Carey first introduced her modern classic Christmas LP, ‘Merry Christmas.’  And, while the effort needs no reintroduction to new generations as its content has become a staple every holiday season since its arrival, the Pop icon’s repackaged the yuletide effort to commemorate its 25th anniversary.

Announced a month ago (as we reported here), the deluxe edition arrived today (November 1) and is a 2-disc affair stuffed with a 29-song tracklist that features the first incarnation’s slew of favorites, previously unreleased festive tunes, new remixes, and more.

Barring a few soundtrack and guest appearances on other artists’ music, Miguel has keep a pretty low profile since the top 10 debut of his 2017 album, ‘War & Leisure.’  However, the release of his new song – ‘Funeral’ – comes as a signal that’s soon to change.

“Send my regards to the mother and father/ ‘Cause somebody’s daughter I just f*cking slayed,” he croons in the chorus. “Blood on the carpet, it came from my heart/ Once I start, I can’t stop it, and now we are prey.”

The haunting tune, reminiscent of the dark Urban Pop delivered by The Weeknd‘s earlier efforts, was fittingly teased on Halloween and, a day later, is available for a full listen.  It awaits inside:
