‘Look What You Made Me Do’ may be exactly what Scott Borchetta, the founder of Big Machine Label Group, was thinking when he dug up receipts to refute Taylor Swift‘s claim that she was blindsided by Scooter Braun‘s acquisition of her masters (valued at a whopping $300 million).

After the Grammy winner took to Tumblr to slam Braun for purchasing her catalog – an acquisition her reps claim she didn’t find out about until it went to press – Braun’s wife and fellow celebs weighed in on the PR disaster (click here to read).

Borchetta, among the attacked by Swift’s devoted fans, is trying to clear his good name and has proof he says will show the singer did know about the deal ahead of time.  It should be noted, the 29-year-old – in her lengthy Tumblr post (that can be read by clicking here) – did reveal she was given the opportunity to purchase her masters but only “one album at a time.”  Per his newly unveiled documents, Scott says this isn’t true.

After publicly slamming famed Hollywood manager Scooter Braun buying her masters as a ‘bullying’ and ‘power play’ against her (click here to read more on that), ‘You Need To Calm Down’ singer Taylor Swift got that very advice from Scooter’s wife, Yael Cohen Braun.

In a lengthy message on Instagram, Yael wields some heavy allegations including claims the Grammy winner was given the option of buying her own masters and passed on it.  But, just as her Braun’s wife’s stinging words were gaining traction on the net, many of Swift’s fans – affectionately called #Swifties – launched a scathing attack on Scooter’s social media handles.  As they continued their harassment, even some of Taylor’s fellow celebs got in on the action and joined in the campaign to defend her under the hash tag #WeStandWithTaylor.

The hoop-la caught the attention of singer Demi Lovato, who rushed to the aid of Scooter.  See all the melee inside:

Upon its June 21st release, ‘7’ – the debut EP of rapper Lil Nas X which houses the megahit ‘Old Town Road’ – was projected to ride to the top of the Billboard 200 by the time of the chart’s refreshing (as we reported here).

Projected to shift 70,000-80,000 SPS (4,000-7,000 pure sales) by the end of its inaugural sales tracking week, the Columbia Records set – which also features appearances from the likes of award-winning artists Billy Ray Cyrus & Cardi B – was in a tight battle with JackWhite-fronted rockers The Raconteurs for this week’s top spot.

With the final figures counted it’s being reported The Raconteurs – thanks to a large ticket bundle and strong indie physical sales of their latest project – outpaced the 20-year-old for the top spot.  Look inside to see how many units they shifted to do so:

Justin Bieber is the latest name to weigh-in on the boiling drama between his manager Scooter Braun and Taylor Swift.

As reported, the music mogul secured the rights to the singer’s master recordings after purchasing her former label Big Machine.

Swift swiftly took to the net to vent – asserting that she knew nothing of the deal until everyone else did and also stressed she’s long had issues with Braun, hence her angst at him specifically owning her life’s work.

With the masses now engaging in heated debate, here’s what Bieber – whose career was shepherded by Braun – had to say (after initially posting and removing a jab)…

Lil Nas X has been omnipresent on the charts with global smash ‘Old Town Road,’ yet very little has been divulged about the rising star himself.

Aiming to change that, the 20-year-old took to social media to share an interesting message. A telling one too.

Taylor Swift may be all about spreading positivity on new album ‘Lover,’ but she’s not in the best of moods today.

As reported, Scooter Braun – music mogul and manager to stars such as Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande – purchased the singer’s master’s as part of a broader business acquisition (see: Big Machine record label).

Swift is not impressed and she’s taken to venting publicly. She didn’t hold back either.

As Nicki Minaj debuted nearly a decade before streaming became a piece of the chart puzzle, the rapper’s younger rivals now find themselves tasked with the impossible challenge of matching records she set with pure sales.

The loftiest of these is the records she holds for being the highest-selling female rapper of all time and one of the fastest selling musicians to debut in the 21st century.

For, despite the fact that the entertainer has never topped the Billboard Hot 100, her solo singles and albums have sold more copies than any other lady lyricist in chart history and find their numbers elevated to even higher ground when the material she features on are factored into her sales question.

Today, she extends her run with help from her new single ‘Megatron.’

Arguably her most critically polarizing work since 2003’s ‘American Life,’ Queen of Pop Madonna‘s new album, ‘Madame X,’ was still able to mark a spot atop this week’s Billboard 200 (the 9th effort of her career to do so).

And, while none of the set’s official or buzz singles managed to break into the Billboard Hot 100, public interest in the LP has been buoyed by the tunes’ respective music videos – the latest being the controversial ‘God Control’ (click here to watch).

Fans curious to know about the inspiration behind ‘Control’ (a song that promotes gun law reform) and its co-tenants on ‘Madame X’ will be pleased to learn about the new documentary, ‘The World of Madame X.’  Set in Lisbon, Portugal – the city described as the Pop potentate’s muse for this project – Madonna walks viewers through the creation process of each song, showcases her collaborators, and tells the story of how each tune earned a spot on the final project.

It may have been over 5 years since Iggy Azalea dropped her debut studio album, ‘The New Classic,’ but from where we stand its long-awaited follow-up, ‘In My Defense,’ is proving itself worth the wait.

In addition to blazing singles ‘Sally Walker’ and ‘Started,’ the Rap diva recently sent fans into a frenzy with another taste from the July 19th-due set – the X-rated ‘Just Wanna’ (click here to listen).  While we await news on if that bedroom banger will get the video treatment, Iggy Iggz has confirmed her next visual will not only drop on the day of her album release but will also feature fellow femcee Kash Doll.
