Rising rapper Saweetie is ready to scorch this summer and makes that agenda clear in the video for new single ‘My Type.’

The bop, which samples Petey Pablo’s ‘Freek-A-Leek,’ is lifted from her recently released album ‘ICY.’

For its visual, the femcee tapped director DAPS (notable for his work with Migos, the City Girls + Cardi B).

Little Mix‘s popularity spreads far and wide. And the Pop quad are ensuring they embrace all corners of their fanbase.

This week, that mission brought took them Down Under to the ‘The Voice Australia’ where they scorched the stage a spirited performance of new single ‘Bounce Back.’

The appearance saw the ladies reunite with coach Kelly Rowland, who helped piece the group together during her stint as a judge on ‘The X Factor UK’ in 2011.

It also comes as they gear up for a new album and for the ‘LM5 Tour‘ (for the previous), which launches in the summer and pulls into Aus in December.

‘Thotiana’ rapper Blueface made headlines this week when a clip of him throwing his mom and sister out of his house went viral.

At the time, and based on the content of the vid, the take-away was that the rising star tossed his family out in favor of a girlfriend. And her caught a lot of flack from fans because of it.

As the Taylor Swift/Scooter Braun battle rages on (click here for details), fans, industry analysts, and celebrities alike continue to weigh and pick sides on the debate. Like we reported here, while the likes of Demi Lovato and Justin Bieber defend the good name of Braun (who also serves as their manager), Katy Perry, Ariana Grande, Halsey, and many more have shifted their support to the side of Swift.

And, while Lovato and Bieber have earned quite the tongue lashings from the swarm of Swifties (Taylor fans) leaving stinging comments on their respective social media handles, another singer-songwriter is swinging atop headlines for her support of Braun in ways unlike her Pop contemporaries: ‘Chandelier’ singer Sia.  After the 43-year-old took to Twitter to say…

The fallout between Taylor Swift and Scooter Braun is raging on.

As widely reported, chaos ensued when news hit that the mega-manager had purchased the singer’s former label Big Machine – in the process snapping up the masters of her entire catalogue.

Swift reacted with a scathing indictment of Braun and Big Machine – both of whom have denied her take on the episode.

Big Machine’s Scott Borchetta took it a step further and stressed that the star was given the chance to bid on her music.

With the world on the edge of its seat for the arrival of ‘The Lion King’ on July 19th, Disney have given a detailed glimpse into the making of the surefire blockbuster.

In a brand new featurette, viewers are welcomed into the creation process of the Jon Favreau production – both theatrically and musically.

The lush world ‘The Jungle Book’ director created for the film is paired with a look into the recording of its highly anticipated soundtrack; a colossal compilation (due July 11th) which’ll feature contributions from stars Beyonce and Donald Glover as well as production from Hans Zimmer, Pharrell Williams, Lebo M, Tim Rice, and Elton John.
