Iyanla Vanzant‘s effort to inspire healing in the homes and hearts of those closest to her has seen arrive at the door of Diamond Reynolds, the fiancee’ of the murdered Philando Castile.

Castile was killed by a police officer in front of Diamond and their child prompting hurt and outrage within the African-American community.

Now, Diamond has sought help from Vanzant as she seeks the happiness the murder threatened to shatter.

When as big a star as J. Cole, album releases are events. Even when minimal notice is given.

Such was the case for the Hip-Hop titan’s latest offering ‘KOD’ – which arrived with a week’s lead-in.

The set – which bears three simultaneous translations: ‘Kidz On Drugz,’ ‘King Overdose,’ and ‘Kill Our Demonz’ – was preceded by surprise shows in New York and London.

Was the hype enough to help Cole deliver commercially? The first week forecasts are in, as such the answer awaits below…

As reported earlier today, the stage scorcher will be bringing the heat with extended dates of her ‘State Of The World Tour’ this summer.

Cop a gander of Janelle Monae!

The multi-talented songstress releases new album ‘Dirty Computer’ (together with a 44-minute visual) later this week and trumpets its arrival in the newest issue of FAULT Magazine.

Beyond posing it up for a striking shoot (which was lensed at Jimi Hendrix’s preserved London flat), Monae seized her interview feature to reflect on racism in America, parenthood fears, and how staring in Oscar-winning ‘Moonlight’ helped her decide to “walk in her truth.”
