Beyonce has learned that never-before-seen visuals unearthed from her videography’s vault have been unearthed…and are to be sold at auction.

From The Vault venture back ten years to a time when a premium Pop star was on the cusp of releasing her biggest single to date.

This week’s pick is Beyonce’s humungous hit ’Irreplaceable.’

Written by Ne-Yo and Mrs Carter, the track was produced by Norwegian maestros Stargate and was issued as the third single from the artist’s sophomore solo album ‘B’Day.’

With its now inked-in-pop-culture catchphrase “to the left, to the left,” the song stands as one of the sassiest breakup offerings of all time. Its Folk-meets-Pop production also helped popularize acoustic guitar-led songs among mainstream acts. Indeed, many a subsequent smash rested its back on the sound of the omnipresent hit.

Commercial, ‘Irreplaceable’ remains Beyonce’s biggest hit on the Billboard Hot 100, spending a glorious 10 weeks at the top; it was also a chart topper on the Hot Hip-Hop/R&B and managed to take over the world scoring Top 10 placements in Australia, the UK, France, Canada and Italy.

Anthony Mandler directed the visual which depicted Bey taking a literal approach to the song’s lyrics. She’s seen throwing her ex-bae out of her house and recollecting everything she got for him when they were together. Prior to meeting her upgrade, she’s shown serving up her trademark fierceness throughout – proving she can channel Sasha on a mid-tempo too. The vid also serves as the debut of Bey’s all female band The Mamas’s.

The clip was included in her first video anthology for the ‘B’Day’ LP and was nominated for Video Of The Year at the 2007 MTV VMA’s.

************

As much as we love post-2013 Beyonce and her “unconventional” ways, we do miss the artist that was ready to perform at the opening of a door and that released songs which still had even a tiny flair of “made for radio” to them.

Whatever the case, it’s been fascinating experiencing the star’s growth over the last decade: a transformation from singer of Pop tunes to a mogul in full charge of her career.

Salute, to an artist who – even ten years later – remains irreplaceable.

Kevin Hart‘s filmography continues to reach higher ground.

Following the questionable and widely panned effort that was ‘Get Hard‘, the comedian seeks to create and release fun and uplifting content via Hartbeat Productions and Columbia Pictures.

The latter has teamed up with him to reboot the classic movie ‘Jumanji‘ with help from Nick Jonas and Jack Black.

Why fans of the original (which starred Robin Williams) have good reason to look forward to it?

10-time Grammy winner John Legend lifted the lid on his fifth studio album, ‘Darkness and Light,’ this weekend – much to delight of his dedicated fans.

Launched by tune ‘Love Me Now’ (which, to date, has peaked at #41 on the Hot 100), the opus is winning thumbs up from critics and fans alike for its political skew while still maintaining sonic elements that drew fans to his previous releases (see:  jazz, soul, R&B, gospel-tinged numbers).  Yet, while the critics are making a lot of noise in praise of the project, the buzz for it – admittedly – has been quite hushed (to put it nicely).

Unlike fellow crooners, Bruno Mars and The Weeknd, Legend’s ‘American Music Awards’ performance did not yield amped anticipation for his then-soon to follow project.  The absence of said buzz and little full-on traditional promotion to assist may be the culprits behind why – as of time reported – ‘Darkness and Light’ is set to lend Legend his lowest first week sales to date.

When not professing undying love for ex-husband Sean Penn, auctioning off personal treasures, climbing on table tops, and twerking with pop tart Ariana Grande (as seen here), Madonna spent Friday night helping to raise more than $7.5 million at Miami’s Faena Forum at her ‘Raising Malawi’ event dedicated to the support of The Mercy James Pediatric Surgery Hospital in Malawi.

Performing some of her greatest hits and tackling some interesting covers of Britney Spears and others, Madge showed off her best tricks for a star-studded crowd that included Chris Rock, James Corden, Dave Chappelle, Leonardo Dicaprio, and even ex-boyfriend A-Rod.

Welcome to another edition of Retro Rewind, the TGJ original feature launched to celebrate TV and Film’s glorious past.

Today, we revisit Madonna‘s seminal ‘Truth or Dare‘, the documentary she shot while on her ‘Blonde Ambition Tour’ in 1991.

In it, the ‘Bad Girl’ offered fans access to her life on the road, her friendships with members of her team and, more importantly, the truth behind their painful childhoods and how it shaped them as they delivered the show to fans all over the world.

Its moving nature saw the project generate $29,012,935 and go on to inspire Lady GaGa’s ‘Lady GaGa Presents the Monster Ball Tour: At Madison Square Garden’ in 2011.

That isn’t all.

The movie also features appearances from Lionel Ritchie, Warren BeattyAntonio Banderas, the “neat” Kevin Costner and…(drumroll) an unforgettable Janet Jackson dig.

Unfortunately, it also showcases some of the crueller parts of the icon’s personality.

How so?
