Selena‘s story is being spotlighted anew by way of a documentary on Netflix.

Set to premiere next month, ‘Selena y Los Dinos’ centers on the life and legacy of the Latin music legend, Selena Quintanilla, who, along with her family, ascended on the music scene, redefined genres, and carved out a place in history that cannot be erased.

Already a winner at the Sundance Film Festival, the special is comprised of never-before-seen footage from the family’s personal archive.

As Jennifer Hudson learned last year after crowning herself the “Princess of Christmas,” fans of Queen of Christmas Mariah Carey (affectionately called #Lambs) don’t take kindly to self-appointed honorific titles related to the yuletide holiday.

The lesson is one now being extended to Hudson’s fellow daytime TV talk show host Sherri Shepherd after the comic-actress proclaimed Tamera Mowry-Housley one of the season’s reigning monarchs.

Ed Sheeran‘s latest album ‘Play‘ may have entered the Billboard 200 with his lowest first-week sales to date, but that doesn’t mean he’s abandoning promotion of the project.

Breathing new life into some fan-favorites from the LP, Sheeran dropped the ‘Play (Remixes)‘ EP on October 17 – revamping songs like ‘Don’t Look Down,’ ‘Heaven,’ ‘Sapphire,’ and ‘Symmetry’ with Indian artists.

Even featuring Ed singing in the Punjabi and Hindi languages, the latter tune was given the video treatment alongside singer-rapper Karan Aujla.

“I don’t know where you’ve been / Cracked the code of feelin’ / We’re alone, two silhouettes just touchin’ skin / This is how it begins,” Sheeran sings in the first verse of the intercultural cut.

Doja Cat may have scored her fourth consecutive Billboard 200 top 10 hit with her latest album, ‘Vie,’ but the September 26-issued project pounced to the position with her lowest first-week sales this decade.

Undoubtedly hoping to help the LP lengthen its tenancy on the tally, Doja is still hot on the promo trail in its support – most recently giving her beloved fans (affectionately called #Kittens) a peek at the behind-the-scenes action of the music video of the effort’s latest single ‘Stranger.’
