Adele-Hello-video thatgrapejuice

She may have seen her latest album, ’25,’ take a two week hiatus from the top, but this week’s refreshed chart will see powerhouse diva Adele say hello to the perch of the Billboard 200 yet again.

The revisit, which will give the songstress her 8th week at the chart’s summit, came after being ousted by David Bowie‘s posthumously released project two weeks ago.  Now, after logging some time at the chart’s runner-up position, Addy is back at it with an impressive 8th week.

Drake is the vendor that just keeps giving.

The Hip-Hop titan sprung a surprise on listeners of OVO Sound Radio on Apple’s Beats 1 tonight with the debut of new single ‘Summer Sixteen.’

Like most offerings from the Canadian bred star, the cut was crafted by longtime collaborator Noah ’40’ Shebib, Cubeatz, and Boi-1da – producer of Drizzy’s new Rihanna duet ‘Work.’

The song is the latest in a consistent stream of music from the star, who released two projects last year – ‘If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late’ and the Future assisted ‘What A Time To Be Alive.’ New album ‘Views From The Six’ is due April, it has now been confirmed.

In a move that is sure to set tongues a’wagging, the Young Money maestro raps the following on ‘Summer’:

“I used to want to be on Roc-A-Fella, then I turned into Jay. Now I got a house in L.A., now I got a bigger pool than Ye / And look man, Ye’s pool is nice, mine’s just bigger is what I’m saying.”

Elsewhere, he takes aim again at Meek Mill, spitting:

“I could’ve killed you the first time, you don’t have to say it louder homie we heard you the first time”

chris brown thatgrapejuice

‘Run It’ beau Chris Brown has run to social media yet again to share his oft-controversial opinion, this time with the Grammys in his sights.

The 26 year old may have nabbed many-a-hit in 2014 and 2015, but the year’s Grammy nods only saw him listed once (and as a feature) in the ‘Best Rap/Sung Collaboration’ category for his work on Nicki Minaj‘s ‘Only.’  And, while the nominations were revealed some time ago, Brown – two weeks before the show is set to air – zeroed in on the ceremony saying ‘they used to mean something.’

Sparking quite the debate amongst his beloved #TeamBreezy, we turn to you to ask:  is he salty or does he have a point?  Tuck in below to weigh in:

Rihanna-Anti1-thatgrapejuice

After the technological company Samsung purchased an undisclosed amount of Rihanna‘s ‘ANTI’ album, the set was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America.

Unfortunately, fans of the Grammy winning performer have been unable to truly celebrate this news, as they battle critics who now accuse the star of “cheating the chart system” in a bid to compete with some of Pop’s more commercially potent stars.

The one fact said fans could celebrate in peace was news the set had sold 400,000 units on Jay Z’s Tidal streaming service….until now.

For, ‘Forbes’ magazine has revealed that it has good reason to believe that that figure was fabricated by the company.
