“It’s time” takes on multiple meanings for Mariah Carey.

After signaling the 2023 holiday season had officially kicked off with her highly anticipated yuletide announcement video, Carey’s hit the promo trail running in support of the ventures she has set to kick off in the coming weeks including the  ‘Merry Christmas One & All Tour.‘

Ahead of the jaunt’s launch in California on November 15, the diva’s spread good tidings about the Stateside trek on a number of high-profile outlets like ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ and ‘Good Morning America’ (GMA).

Found on the latter Monday (November 6), Mariah dished on everything from the origin of her top-selling hit ‘All I Want for Christmas is You’ to the forthcoming tour, her favorite holiday memories, and even new music.

It’s time!

Just a day after announcing her annual holiday onslaught, music icon Mariah Carey is hot on the promo trail for all of her seasonal offerings including campaigns with Victoria’s Secret and Children’s Place as well as a yuletide Stateside tour.

Taking to ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ on Thursday (November 2) to dish on the ventures, Mimi donned a glitzy minidress and gold high heels to the show’s taping which hit airwaves after the diva snuck into his house in the middle of the night to perform a hilarious Christmas prank.

Elsewhere in the appearance Carey shared details about her new tour, challenging The Beatles for the all-time Billboard Hot 100 record for most #1 hits, what Britney Spears had to say about her in the new memoir ‘Woman in Me,’ and so much more.

Britney Spears‘ memoir ‘The Woman in Me’ is doing big business a retailers.

As reported, the bombshell book chronicles the highs and lows of the superstar’s life – including her humble beginnings, her stratospheric ascend to music megastardom, her roller-coaster romance with Justin Timberlake, and the controversial conservatorship that led to the “Free Britney” movement that would eventually facilitate her freedom.

With the title a trending topic before, during, and after its release, it’s become clear that the buzz has translated into sales.

Britney Spears has largely avoided a return to the music scene following her emancipation from the conservatorship that governed her personal and professional life for 13 years.

Indeed, sans a well-received collaboration with Elton John, the Pop force has been vocal about her desire for an indefinite break from the industry.

As such, it surprised many when ‘Mind Your Business,’ a “new” collaboration with will.i.am, sprung up this summer. Even more perplexing was Spears’ total ignoring of the track.

Ultimately, unlike the pair’s previous chart-topping duet ‘Scream & Shout,’ the song failed to ignite on the charts – missing the Billboard Hot 100 entirely.

And while the release is seemingly in rearview for all, it didn’t stop the Black Eyed Peas frontman from being quizzed about it during an appearance on This Morning while in London promoting his judging stint on the new season of The Voice UK.

During the chat, he shared an interesting information nugget; one that is sure to raise eyebrows and add a further layer of confusion about why ‘Mind Your Business’ was released.

It’s still award season and the Billboard Music Awards 2023 is up next.

Taking place on November 19, the event will honor some of the most commercially impactful releases over the last year.

And, for the first time ever, the BBMAs will unwrap performances and awards across BBMAs and Billboard social channels.

Today (October 26) has seen the much-anticipated nominations unveiled. And it brings with it good news for the likes of Taylor Swift, Morgan Wallen, SZA, The Weeknd, Drake, and Zach Bryan.

Pop titan Swift leads with 20 nods, while Wallen and SZA follow with 16 a piece.

Elsewhere, Drake is up for 14 awards and The Weeknd contending for 13.

In a first-of-its-kind ‘Fans First’ collaboration with Spotify, this year’s show brings audiences up close and personal with their favorite acts.

The BBMAs and Spotify have teamed up to identify fans who have consumed the most hours of music over the past year and ultimately helped lift their favorite artists to the top spots on the Billboard charts. These super fans will receive a “golden ticket” – which rewards them with access to attend a once-in-a-lifetime performance curated by their favorite artists for the BBMAs.

Speaking on the unique activation, Maddy Mesevage, SVP, Marketing at dick clark productions said:

“We’ve heard the fans loud and clear, and we’re excited to meet them where they are, and everywhere they want to consume music and content. Only 43 acts in the 71-year history of the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) can boast having 20 or more Platinum plaques for singles.

A certification bestowed for sales equivalence of 1 million units in the United States, the number of awards has historically eluded female acts even more as only 24% of the aforementioned club are ladies – a score upped recently by Pop princess Britney Spears.

The diva, who is currently rocking headlines with jaw-dropping revelations aboard her long-awaited memoir ‘The Woman In Me‘ (released October 24), has also rocked the RIAA with a slew of new certifications.

So many she’s in fact joined an exclusive club of female hitmakers.

With days separating music lovers from the October 24 delivery of Britney Spears‘ memoir ‘The Woman in Me,’ it’s certain we’ll see the long-awaited tell-all dominate headlines before and after its release in response to some of its jaw-dropping revelations.

And while her meteoric rise to fame, 13-year conservatorship, relationship with Justin Timberlake, and failed marriages are expected to be addressed in its pages, many are wondering if her two decade-long rivalry with fellow Pop diva Christina Aguilera will be as well.
