As if Rihanna‘s polarizing MET Gala gown wasn’t enough entertainment, the 27-year-old was tapped as the night’s headlining act at yesterday star-studded spectacle.

Backed by a rousing band, the self-proclaimed Bad Gyal performed atop of dinner tables as she barked belted songs from her catalogue, including current single ‘Bitch Better Have My Money.’

Interestingly, that portion of the set was performed right in front of rival Beyonce, whose reaction seemed “interesting.”

Brandy sure knows how to juggle these jobs.

Fresh from announcing her new BET sitcom ‘Zoe Moon,’ the Vocal Bible is taking a brief break from recording her new studio album to play the role of Roxie Hart in ‘Chicago’ on Broadway.

The stint, which kicked off last month and runs until June 21st, is being backed by a major promotional push, with the latest stop being on the ‘Meredith’ show today.

Sporting a stunning pixie cut, B-Rocka dished on her role, whether she’ll let her daughter join show-business, and the persistent rumors of her starring on ‘Empire.’

The latter was particularly interesting, as the Grammy winner revealed that she’s been out to lunch with its creator Lee Daniels. Discussing a role maybe?

Any drama between Lady GaGa and Madonna appears to have dissolved during last night’s MET Gala.

Next to Rihanna’s dress, Mother Monster and Material Madge were next in line to break the internet after appearing together with Katy Perry.

The whole episode was notable in light of GaGa and the 56-year-old’s public clash in 2012 (see: ‘Born This Way,’ reductive, ‘Express Yourself).’ It also comes on the heels of the media’s pitting GaGa and Perry against one another in 2013 after the release of their singles ‘Applause’ and ‘Roar.’
