Almost 1 million viewers tuned in to catch the very first episode of TV One’s ‘R&B Divas: Atlanta‘, thanks largely to the show’s compelling fly-on-the-wall look into the lives of five singers who’ve left their stiletto print on the genre.

Today its creators Faith Evans and Phil Thornton are the proud parents of a Los Angeles-based spinoff, and so- ever eager to keep you in the know- That Grape Juice caught up with the latter to discuss his growing empire and the glass shattering divas at the heart of it.

Rihanna‘s ‘Home‘ has swept up $101.5 million worldwide since its release, now placed $33.5 million away from recouping the $135 million spent to create it.

Now placed atop the US Box Office, the animated movie can now boast of having the highest opening number for an animated release since ‘The Lego Movie’ was unveiled in the UK, picking up $5.17 million in Russia and $2.42 million in Australia.

These figures helped the project earn $20 million before the movie opened in the US, nabbing a Metacritic score of 55 out 100 thanks to “mixed or average reviews.”

Last night saw Iyanla Vanzant‘s ‘Fix My Life’ train stop at Karrueche Tran‘s station to address her ongoing issues with her R&B superstar boyfriend Chris Brown.

Unfortunately, the positive moves the ladies made have found themselves overshadowed by criticism of Tran’s pal Christina Milian.

For, in a bid to gain deeper insight into Tran’s life, Vanzant caught up with Milian during the special for an short interview that’s seen her booed, belittled and blasted by viewers on social media.

Azealia Banks‘ debut album, ‘Broke With Expensive Taste’, may have sold next to nothing, but it seems it’ll take more than poor sales to stop the rap royal on her quest for success.

For, after securing the cover of ‘Playboy‘ magazine and a forthcoming Billboard placement, the ‘Ice Princess‘ continues to rock and roll on a visual front with the video ‘Blown Away.’

The cut is led by the artist Gypjaq and drops before the launch of Banks’ ‘Broke With Expensive Taste’ tour which makes its way to LA on April 16th!
