Fitness model David McIntosh stood as one of two entertainers enlisted to co-star in Nicki Minaj‘s ‘Anaconda‘ visual, teasing his role in the project in footage released here.

Unfortunately for him, he was nowhere to be seen when the final edit of the video was released, thrown to the cutting room floor before its leading lady saw it make VEVO history.

After making bank via endorsements from the FIFA video game series and WWE, British rapper Clement Marfo has pulled a Madonna this year, reinventing himself in support of his brand new material.

His MO? To merge Funk and Rap to create a James Brown-inspired sound with singles ‘Break a Sweat’ and ‘Glass Ceiling.’

The latest series of The X Factor UK continued in fine form tonight. With the Live Show segment of the season in full swing, the hopefuls are tasked on week 2 with pulling out all the stops to progress onto the next week. Judging the contestants are Simon Cowell, Cheryl Cole, Mel B, and  Louis Walsh.

As ever, Lil Kim is on the comeback trail. This time, though, the rapper is juggling music with motherhood after giving birth to daughter Royal Reign this Summer.

The ‘Whoa’ femcee may sport a hard edge when spitting verses, however she softened when gushing over her young one online today.

Taking to Twitter, she shared snaps of the newborn, saying:

As any fan in the know will already know Tuesday September 30th marked the last day for nomination eligibility for the 2015 Grammy Awards, set to air live on CBS on February 8th of next year.

This week, the world has learned the names of which releases launched by a number of the year’s brightest stars have been submitted to the award show’s committee, now tasked with deciding which acts are most deserving of gongs on the night.

Ever eager to promote her brand new studio album ‘Aretha Franklin Sings The Great Diva Classics’ is Aretha Franklin, the undisputed Queen of Soul.

So, yesterday saw her beamed into news outlets across the USA to promote the album with the help of many a star struck news anchor, eager to declare their admiration for her.

Alas, things didn’t go to plan. For, thanks to a faulty ear piece, Franklin was unable to hear many of the questions put to her. The result? A show case of the personality that’s made the icon one of the world’s more endearing and unintentionally hilarious entertainers.

Earlier this month, Mariah Carey made headlines for all the wrong reasons when she set sail on the Asian leg of her new tour, ‘The Elusive Chanteuse Show’. Indeed, everything from the band, the audience, and Mimi’s elaborate gowns turned up…the only problem is that her voice didn’t.

It seems, though, that the diva is making steady progress on the trek.

For, her latest show in Tiajin, China has seen her famed vocals sound more akin to those that her fans, Lambs, and all in-between have come to know and love over the years.
