Now available to purchase for $7.99, the project now sits at #8 on iTunes USA’s albums tally and is currently outperforming pre-order digits moved by J.Cole’s ‘2014 Forest Hills Drive‘, Beyonce’s ‘More Only’ and Sam Smith‘s ‘In the Lonely Hour.’

The Material Girl may be plagued by leaks of new material from her forthcoming 13th studio album, but if reports are to be believed, her pockets definitely ain’t hurting as a result thereof.

Proof of this can be found by perusing the “World’s Richest Recording Artists” list.  With names like Dr. Dre, Beyonce, Mariah Carey and Paul McCartney ruling the tally’s upper rankings, above all the aforementioned sits one name – Madonna.

With a whopping net worth of $800 million (dispelling rumors that the diva is a billionaire), the songstress’s foray into music and movies has assisted with building an empire that towers over competitors.  A move easily attributed to the diva’s ability to keep her name on the tongue of the masses, as evidenced by a topless photoshoot to accompany the feature story of her recent Interview magazine stint.

Is the Queen of Hip Hop Soul gearing up for yet another reign atop the Billboard 200 with her new album ‘The London Sessions’?

We don’t know yet, but what we do know is that her bids to ensure such come aboard a jaw dropping schedule that sees her making many-a-stop in support of the project.  Already dropping by ‘The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon’ to perform the album’s fan favorite ‘Therapy’ (seen below), the Grammy winning diva also took to the couch of ‘The Wendy Williams Show’ this morning to dish on the new set.

As if that’s not enough, now Blige unveils the accompanying video for ‘Whole Damn Year’ – a dramatic affair that tackles domestic violence and bullying.

It appears there’s been a method to the madness that has been Teairra Mari‘s turn up’s on ‘Love & Hip-Hop: Hollywood’ this season.

The former Princess of the Roc has been trying to battle out of R&B wilderness with the help of the VH1 show; yet for many, her temper tantrums seemed like the only thing she’s been selling on the Mona Scott production.

With yesterday ushering in the finale of the show’s current run, today brought with it a drop of redemption in the form of new song ‘Deserve’.

Undeterred by the backlash the Aaliyah biopic caused, Lifetime are pressing ahead with their much-talked about Whitney Houston movie.

Produced by Angela Bassett, the film is being led by Yaya DaCosta who steps into the iconic stilettos of the late, great vocalist.

With anticipation to see how the flick turns out high, the network have today revealed that its debut is sooner than one may assume.
