If our appetite for ABC’s forthcoming musical drama ‘Queens’ hadn’t already reached a royal pitch, the first music video lifted from the venture has certainly gotten the job done.

Taking to Miami to film the Tim Story-directed music video, the quartet of leading ladies trade fiery verses about why they’re the baddest – each dropping a set of believable bars that had us on the edge of our seat.

Because this generation boasts few female stars who can hang with the likes of Chloe Bailey and Tinashe on stage, it’s not uncommon for fans of both ladies to compare the prowess of their performance abilities.

Yet, the comparison nearly turned ugly when Sweet T was clocked by Bailey fans “liking” a tweet that suggested photos that accompanied a recent Twitter post were unoriginally similar to the album artwork of her ‘Songs For You’ LP.

Once Chloe caught wind of the tension bubbling between the fan groups, she immediately shut it down – a measure that was co-signed by Tinashe.

Readers of That Grape Juice know how passionate we are about music – whether that be past or present.

However, unlike our other segments – Retro Rewind, TGJ Replay, and From The Vault – The Pop Stop is the most in-depth look at Pop songs that may have flown under the radar over the last week that you should know, rather they be from music’s biggest stars or those on the rise.

This week, we want to highlight cuts from Jonas Brothers, Majid Jordan, The War On Drugs, and Alec Benjamin.

It’s hard to look at trampolines the same after seeing Tinashe‘s slamming music video for ‘Bouncin,’ the latest official single from her fifth studio album ‘333’ (available now).

While it’s probably best we leave all of our trampoline activity to the professionals, Sweet T reminds us just how much of that she is with the behind the scenes look at the clip’s creation. Under the direction of Lloyd Pursall, the 28-year-old – alongside a troop of equally capable dancers –  turned a demure basketball court into a full-on dance floor.

Showing off choreography that would make even the most seasoned movers and shakers drop jaws, look inside to see the magic that went into the creation of ‘Bouncin.’

To commemorate the August 27 release of ‘See You Next Wednesday,’ the star-studded third studio album of Palestinian-Canadian rapper Belly, fans were introduced to the song’s The Weeknd and Nas-assisted cut, ‘Die For It.’

What’s more, the tune was brought to life via a post-apocalyptic music video directed by James Lareese.

Speaking on the collaborative venture, Belly shared:

“This collaboration felt like something special from the jump. Nas is someone I’ve always looked up to and learned from my whole life and getting a verse from him was definitely on my bucket list. An artist like Abel comes around once in a lifetime, being able to work with him has been one of my greatest blessings.”
