Much to the dismay of the UK’s R&B loyalists, the last decade has failed to deliver a US entertainer from the genre to rock their market in ways done by the likes of Beyonce, Alicia Keys, Chris Brown– and at one point- Ciara.

Set to change once Miguel sets his sights on international acclaim with his forthcoming LP, this week saw Sevyn Streeter fly her genre’s flag on British soil,  doing so with her Chris Brown-backed number, ‘It Won’t Stop.’

A year may have passed since Justin Timberlake released the first instalment of ‘The 20/20 Experience’, yet the stage blazer continues to press on with promotion for the project.

‘Not A Bad Thing’, which is lifted from “part 2” of the multi-Platinum LP, has been serviced as the set’s latest single and saw its accompanying video premiered on ‘Ellen’ today.

Roc Nation‘s Rita Ora is readying a major launch for new single ‘I Will Never Let You Down’.

The Calvin Harris produced cut is set to be unleashed imminently and will be pushed in earnest by a Rimmel London TV, online, and print campaign.

So as to whip up the already buzzing buzz, Ora took to Instagram minutes ago and released a behind the scenes look at the song’s accompanying video.

Shot in LA, the clip is the first visual offering from the singer’s upcoming sophomore album (which’ll dub as her US debut).

With April 25th marking the launch of Nicki Minaj‘s big-screen debut in ‘The Other Woman‘, it’s safe to say 2014’s first quarter has been all flavours of fruitful for the ‘5 Star Chick.’
