With just days to go before Celine Dion is honored with the Icon Award at the 2016 Billboard Music Awards, the superstar singer sat down with Nightline to discuss the piercing loss of her husband.

Rene Angelil, who also served as her career-long manager, died five months ago following a hard-fought battle with throat cancer.

Hailed as a titan of talent, Dion has had to serve as a tower of strength for the couple’s three children – all the while coming to terms with his death herself.

Last night brought with it the grand unveiling of Kelly Rowland‘s all new girl-group on hit BET series ‘Chasing Destiny.’ 

Pieced together by the singer and creative director Frank Gatson, the five-piece (who receive a contract with Epic Records) are comprised of Brienna, Shyann, Ashly, Gabby, and Krystal. 

Their creation process will continue to air through to June, but keen to give the masses a taste of what to expect from their sound, the quintet have debuted a harmonious cover of Drake‘s hit ‘Hotline Bling.’

Jennifer Lopez rubbed shoulders with the movers and shakers behind Qatar Airways in Atlanta recently.

There, at a private venue at the Fox Theatre, the bilingual bombshell performed for the airline’s investors as she continues to craft cuts for her ‘Ain’t Your Mama’-fronted new album.

It’s an exciting tim for the entertainer. For, she recently learned that her hit TV series ‘Shades of Blue’ had been renewed for a second season after its first cycle fared very well on NBC.

Alicia Keys was recently unveiled as a judge on the next season of The Voice.

Tonight saw the 15-time Grammy winner familiarise herself with her soon-to-be-surroundings by performing new single ‘In Common’ on the final of the show’s current cycle.

Backed by an army of soul-filled dancers, Ms. Keys delivered a butter-smooth showing of the track.

Mariah Carey is hitting the promotional pavement in support her new E! docu-series ‘Mariah’s World’ – which debuts later this summer.

This evening saw her stop by Bravo‘s Watch What Happens Live to plug the series.
