“Tidal for all” is looking more like “Tidal for some” if you ask Yesh Music, LLC and John Emanuele from the band, the American Dollar.
For, despite launching the streaming service as an answer to artists’ cry for underpayment by streaming’s major players, Jay’s effort is being met with a $5 million class action suit from plaintiffs (listed above) who allege Tidal streamed over 100 of their copyrighted songs without paying back any royalty payments in the process.
