Ke$ha was dealt a devastating blow in court yesterday when her bid for release from her record contract with Dr. Luke and Sony Music was rejected by a New York judge.

The suit forms part of a bigger legal showdown, which sees the ‘Tik Tok’ singer alleging abuse at the hands of the hitmaker.

Jury’s out on what’ll become of the rest of Ke$ha’s case, but in the time since the judgement, support has flooded in from fans and her Pop peers alike.

Chris Brown‘s ‘Back to Sleep’ is back…and it’s bigger than ever.

For, after building a career inspired by Usher‘s and now being label-mates with Zayn Malik, Brown has called on the fellas to create a remix to ‘Sleep’ to support his new LP ‘Royalty.’

The jam’s unveiling will go a long way to support Zayn’s debut effort ‘Mind of Mine’ which drops on March 25th and reignite interest in Usher’s forthcoming set.

After wooing fans with the complex and layered stories presented with the likes of ‘Count Contessa‘ and ‘Idle Delilah’, Azealia Banks seeks to do the same with her brand new cut ‘The Big Big Beat.’

Alas, despite showcasing her gift for crafting stunning melodies when singing, the number fails to impress on rap front, lacking the storytelling qualities or infectious flows that made her earlier releases what they were.

Ouch!

While fans are snapping up tickets to Beyonce‘s highly anticipated ‘Formation’ tour at a rapid pace, there are some who have been quite vocal about their intent to be absent:  municipal police authorities.

Indeed, after Miami’s fraternal order announced their plan to boycott the singer’s security detail when the tour kicks off there on April 27th, now Nashville, New York City, and even the singer’s hometown of Houston, TX are joining the #BoycottBeyonce train.

All roads lead to March 25th for K. Michelle.

The R&B maven will, on said, date unleash her quirkly titled third album ‘More Issues Than Vogue.’

Today she shares another page from the project in the form of new number ‘Mindful.’

Having sung and even yodelled on previous cuts, the reality star turned credible act showcases her rap skills on the track.
