Though she may not be everyone’s cup of tea, Rita Ora stands at the forefront of Pop’s gang of newcomers…at least to us.

For, after committing a few fails on the fashion front last eyar, this year has seen the starlet up her game on all fronts to deliver an aesthetic just as young, fresh and as exciting as she is.

Interestingly, fresh and exciting are also the words we’d use to describe her set at this year’s ‘VG-Lista Topp 20 Rådhusplassen 2014′, giving us no choice but to applaud whoever was tasked with handling choreography, styling and creative direction.

Last week, fans of ‘Disney’ belle Selena Gomez turned a suspicious eye towards Katy Perry, when ‘HITS Daily Double’ published a report claiming the latter had her fired from the management company they were both signed to.

This week, after catching wind of the story, Perry’s manager has issued a statement slamming the report, going to great lengths to explain why ‘HITS’ report was both “damaging” and “malicious.”

Does Omarosa eat shade for breakfast? It certainly appears so.

The pastor, reality star, and teacher has, in recent years, made it routine to roast the hosts of the shows she visits.

Her most notable showings? Wendy Williams and Bethenny Frankel.

As many will recall, the first season of Williams’ daytime talker was defined by her infamous sparring match with the ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ star. Famed for her ability to cut even the toughest names down to size, Williams saw the table turned on her when Omarosa took her to task for claiming she’d “smooth her out”. What ensued thereafter was anything but smooth. Still, it helped cement Wendy’s foray into talk as the must-see it is today.

On the Bethenny front, her epic showdown with ol’ ‘Rosa last October may have been the final nail in the coffin for the now-axed show.

For many, Shakira‘s ‘La La (Brazil 2014)’ has become “the” definitive song for the World Cup.

Indeed, despite Pitbull, Jennifer Lopez, and Claudia Leitte‘s ‘We Are One’ being handed that honor in an official capacity, the lukewarm reaction to the track locally and globally has seen many embrace Shaki’s effort more.

As such, the masses will likely be elated to learn that the hip-swivelling singer has been tapped to perform the track at the World Cup Closing Ceremony.

As British Pop stars go, few come as renown as Cheryl Cole.

The stage blazer’s catchy songs and fire-filled performances have cemented her as one of the region’s most celebrated (and debated) talent’s.

Currently gearing up to release fourth solo album ‘Only Human’ in November, The X Factor UK judge made a major promo stop at Capital FM’s Summertime Ball at Wembley over the weekend.

R&B chanteuse Keyshia Cole is wasting no time readying new visuals for her sixth studio album ‘Point Of Return’.

Due later this year, the set is preceded by buzz singles ‘Rick James’ and ‘Next Time (I Won’t  Give My Heart Away)’, as well as official releases ‘She’ and ‘Believer’.

The Californian native shot the videos for the latter two this week and took to Instagram to share sneak peeks at their respective looks.
