With Rihanna turning 24 today, it was inevitable that the model would receive a stampede of well-wishes from fans and fellow artists alike.

However, few were expecting ex Chris Brown to be among those – especially given the controversial nature of their past and his incessant bid to shake of any such attachment to the Bajan.

And yet he was, and publicly too.

For Brown took to Twitter to wish the ‘We Found Love’ singer performer the best on her big day, with Ms. Fenty responding shortly after.

As reported here, knockout beauty Kelly Rowland was one of many tapped to attend and perform at the Keep Memory Alive foundation’s Power of Love Gala last night, celebrating the 70th birthday of boxing legend Muhammad Ali. While singer John Legend and others also hit the stage, Rowland sought to honor her fallen idol Whitney Houston and Ali by lending a stirring rendition of ‘The Greatest Love of All’.

Accompanied by R&B legend Stevie Wonder, fans may remember that Rowland’s choice of song was that of Whitney’s just 20 years earlier at Ali’s 50th birthday celebration.  We’ve shown you pictures from the star-studded event, now catch Rowland singing ‘The Greatest’ for the greatest after the jump:

Robin’s run in with legal troubles did not stop the blue-eyed soulster from paying homage to late pop icon Whitney Houston.  The singer, who is currently in promotions of his critically acclaimed album ‘Love After War’, lifts a cover to a Houston favorite – ‘Exhale’ (Shoop Shoop).  Whitney’s 11th (and final) number one single was graced by Thicke’s chilling falsetto and (re)surfaces shortly after the singer was laid to rest.

‘Let It Go’ singer Keyshia Cole was spotted on the go with son Daniel Gibson, Jr. in Los Angeles yesterday.  Rocking a stylish ensemble, the snaps caught the mother/son duo out shopping on West Hollywood’s lavish Robertson Blvd.

Surfacing shortly after the starlet revealed she is putting the finishing touches on her forthcoming fifth LP ‘Woman To Woman’ (already boasting a duet with Ashanti and sought duet with Brandy), fans should expect to see much of Cole in coming months as she has announced plans on picking the LP’s first single.

The album’s original February due date has been postponed.

Fans can also look to see the singer on her new reality show ‘Family First’ expected to hit the tube later this year.

Since announcing the arrival of her new album ‘MDNA’, Madonna has ensured she be the subject of many a headline. And while her “Pop royal” status was always going to command the attention of the masses, it’s her comments on megastar Lady GaGa which has drawn the most gasps.

Indeed, the Material Girl has not held back in relaying her belief that the ‘Born This Way’ singer’s output has been “reductive” and lifted from her own.

Ever keen to hear what the masses think, That Grape Juice hit the streets of Hollywood to hear what folk are saying about the matter.

Ever keen to keep an eye and ear on what’s fresh, That Grape Juice pours a new glass of comedic tea by introducing a new segment to its growing TV sister site –  ‘Comedy Corner’.  In this, the golden age of Youtube and social media, a host of new (and seasoned) talents have taken to the platform and others like it to hilariously highlight the happenings of Pop culture.  Now, in a weekly serving, get into the best of web comedy!

Since the media circus began for ‘Holiday’ hitmaker Madonna‘s 12th LP ‘M.D.N.A’, her claws have been out for the Mother Monster Lady Gaga.  Calling the young performer ‘reductive’ in a now famous interview, Madge’s copycat accusations against the ‘Poker Face’ performer are by no means new and join a list of other stars (see: Grace Jones) and fans who co-sign the claim.  In a hilarious parody, comedian Charlie Hides takes a look into the pop starlets’ relationship – one that, according to him, sees Gaga incessantly taunting the Pop Veteran.  Hosted on his hit Youtube channel CharlieHidesTV, this viral video hosts a few other diva favorites.

Loved and loathed, the legendary Lauryn Hill endured much of the scrutiny the late Whitney Houston did during her storied career.

As such, it’s only natural that Houston’s recent passing resonated with the former Fugees singer.

During a recent Valentines concert in Hollywood, Hill reflected on the tragedy, offering sound words to music lovers and media the world over.
