While The Fresh Prince of Bel Air enjoyed an impressive 6 year run, the sitcom’s impact on pop culture is immeasurable.

Indeed, the show – which saw viewers the world over welome Will, Carlton, Ashley, and co into both their living rooms and their hearts – is a television classic.

As such, the reuniting of the show’s cast was never going to go unnoticed.

This week saw Karyn Parsons (who played ditzy sister, Hilary) host a luncheon to benefit the charity Sweet Blackberry. And joining festivities were her former cast-mates Will Smith, Alfonso Ribeiro (who played Carlton), James Avery (who played Uncle Phil), Tatyana Ali (Ashley).

The Banks’ butler Jeffrey (played by Joseph Marcell), as well as the two Aunt Viv‘s were unfortunately absent.

However, seeing Will and co together again took us back to the good ol’ days.

Check out this nostalgic flashback with conjured up!

X Factor USA has played host to immeasurable talents, but after weeks of tearful departures and close calls, the show has finally found its superstar – Melanie Amaro.  Accompanying the coveted title of X Factor USA’s ‘first champion’ is a fat $5 million dollar check – a huge incentive for the thousands of hopefuls who auditioned for the show earlier this summer.  Besting fan favorites Chris Rene and Josh Krajcik, the Floridian songbird’s cause was certainly assisted by her rousing renditions of Beyonce‘s “Listen” and R. Kelly‘s ‘I Believe I Can Fly’ (assisted by Kelly himself live) on last night’s finale.

While the world awaits her first official offerings, one thing’s for certain – the girl’s got chops.  And, with media moguls Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid in her corner, Amaro looks to be winning in more ways than one!

Congratulations are in order!

‘Feeling Good’ wailer Jennifer Hudson was feeling herself in more ways than one when she was joined in her latest Weight Watchers ad by..umm…her (former) self.  The songstress, who was recently spotted on VH1’s revamp of ‘Divas’, took stake in that claim to new heights as she belted out a rendition of inspirational tune ‘I Believe In You and Me’ for the spot aired during tonight’s X Factor Finale.

Along with the interesting clip, Hudson is readying a promo tour for her forthcoming memoir ‘I Got This’. The book, due January 10, chronicled the Chicagoan’s weight loss journey and details the diva’s drop of 80lbs.  For those who ever sought a side-by-side, before and after shot of the singer, you can get your new view of Jen times two after the jump:

To say the very least, the latest era of Lady GaGa‘s career has seen her singles struggle to match the successes that were   ‘Bad Romance’, ‘Just Dance‘ and ‘Poker Face‘.

As one of Hip Hop’s more ground breaking acts to date, Young Money Prince  Drake can often be found at the center of heated Rap centric debate.

Loved by some while loathed by others, his arrival and subsequent success on and in the scene has made him the  undisputed figurehead of Contemporary Rap/Hop Hip Hop.

Of course, with such attention comes just as much criticism.

With Lil Kim stating that ‘he just wasn’t built for this hood sh*t’ and Common revealing  his upcoming release ‘Sweet‘ was written all about him, the suggestion that Drake’s singing has made him ‘less of an MC ‘ is one estimation that doesn’t seem to be going anywhere soon.

So,  ever eager to bring attention to the topics you are most passionate about, That Grape Juice asks the question:

Is Mr ‘Marvin’s Room‘ ‘too soft’ for Contemporary Hip Hop?

Soon after X Factor USA judge LA Reid became the newly appointed head of Epic Records, many spectators began to suspect whether the acclaimed producer had plans to entice Pop stunner Jennifer Lopez out of her deal with Island Def Jam in a bid  to sign her to his label, which also houses dynamic duo ‘Karmin‘.

Today, those suspicions reached fever pitch after both parties engaged in a ‘very public’ conversation online, which gave many no choice but to assume a partnership between the pair is in the works.
