The legendary Whitney Houston made a rare appearance in Los Angeles last night, taking to the stage to celebrate R&B  singer Kelly Price.

Hailed as ‘The Voice’, it was always inevitable that the 48 year old would be asked to sing at the pre-Grammy party – a request she kindly entertained.

‘Everything To Me’ maestra Monica sent fans into a frenzy moments ago when she shared this official snap of today’s rehearsal session for Clive Davis‘s annual Pre-Grammy Gala.  Joined by ‘It All Belongs To Me’ co-star Brandy, the diva duo is set to unveil the first live performance of the soon-to-be hit at the bash this weekend.

Much to the diva’s delight, their run through was guest by none other than ‘Run To You’ belter Whitney Houston and daughter Bobbi Kristina.  Taking to Twitter, Mo shared Whitney’s thoughts on her tune with Brandy:

‘It’s All About Me’ maestra Mya is looking to live up to such billing with the forthcoming Valentine’s Day release of ‘K.I.S.S.’ – her recent effort, previously available only in select countries, that is now readied for worldwide release.  Lifted from the singer’s own imprint Planet 9, Miss Harrison is looking to make moves back onto charts and radio alike with ‘Mess Up My Hair’.

‘Hair’, now available at digital outlets, is a sexy tune reminiscent of Caribbean beauty Rihanna‘s ‘What’s My Name’.  A comparison that will inarguably serve as a blessing and curse, the single is one of many extras U.S. fans will get on ‘K.I.S.S.’ (Keep It Sexy and Simple).

‘Peacock’ performer Katy Perry unveiled her colorful ‘Teenage Dream: Complete Confection’ cover today much to fan delight.  And, as ever to keep a smile on her ever faithful fanbase’s faces, the former Mrs. Brand is debuting the first offering from the repackaged set – ‘Part Of Me’.  

Set for release to digital retailers on February 21st,  this won’t be the first time the track has seen the light of day as an early leak made rounds on the net in 2010.  If the song is set to be retooled has yet to be determined.

It’s certainly been a rocky road for ‘The Bridge’ beauty Melanie Fiona‘s sophomore set ‘The MF Life’.  Plagued with constant pushbacks and rescheduled release dates, fans can now rejoice at news that the former May slotted album is set to hit shelves on March 27th.  The news comes shortly after the singer unveiled the album artwork for the ‘Gone and Never Coming Back’-led set (seen above).

Fans can next expect to see Fiona at this Sunday’s Grammy awards where she is nominated for two trophies for her assistance on the Cee Lo Green track ‘Fool For You’.

‘Jumping Trains’ conductress Jojo is certainly making moves in preparation for the release of her 3rd LP.  Winning fans and critics over with set’s leading single ‘Disaster’,   Ms. Levesque was once eyeing an April 3rd release date for her Interscope debut.  While the date, as the singer has confirmed has yet to be set in stone, one thing is certain – the promo grind has certainly never stopped for the Brattleboro beauty.

At an intimate showing at KISS 1075 Lounge recently, Jojo treated fans to a short showing of some of her best beloved hits including live renditions of ‘Leave (Get Out)’, ‘Too Little Too Late’, and her newest gems.
