‘Peacock’ performer Katy Perry unveiled her colorful ‘Teenage Dream: Complete Confection’ cover today much to fan delight.  And, as ever to keep a smile on her ever faithful fanbase’s faces, the former Mrs. Brand is debuting the first offering from the repackaged set – ‘Part Of Me’.  

Set for release to digital retailers on February 21st,  this won’t be the first time the track has seen the light of day as an early leak made rounds on the net in 2010.  If the song is set to be retooled has yet to be determined.

It’s certainly been a rocky road for ‘The Bridge’ beauty Melanie Fiona‘s sophomore set ‘The MF Life’.  Plagued with constant pushbacks and rescheduled release dates, fans can now rejoice at news that the former May slotted album is set to hit shelves on March 27th.  The news comes shortly after the singer unveiled the album artwork for the ‘Gone and Never Coming Back’-led set (seen above).

Fans can next expect to see Fiona at this Sunday’s Grammy awards where she is nominated for two trophies for her assistance on the Cee Lo Green track ‘Fool For You’.

‘Jumping Trains’ conductress Jojo is certainly making moves in preparation for the release of her 3rd LP.  Winning fans and critics over with set’s leading single ‘Disaster’,   Ms. Levesque was once eyeing an April 3rd release date for her Interscope debut.  While the date, as the singer has confirmed has yet to be set in stone, one thing is certain – the promo grind has certainly never stopped for the Brattleboro beauty.

At an intimate showing at KISS 1075 Lounge recently, Jojo treated fans to a short showing of some of her best beloved hits including live renditions of ‘Leave (Get Out)’, ‘Too Little Too Late’, and her newest gems.

Nothing better to accompany a new cd, aptly titled ‘New Life’, than a new ‘do.  Such was clearly the forethought of ‘For You I Will’ wailer Monica.  Moments ago the multiplatinum diva gifted fans with a sneak peek of her new look, courtesy of famed hairstylist Kim Kimble.

The shot surfaces days before the singer rejoins fellow R&B belle Brandy for a live performance of their new cut ‘It All Belongs To Me’ at Clive Davis’ annual ‘Pre-Grammy Gala’.  The performance will come as the first time the two have joined forces on stage in almost 4 years.

Indeed, as is oft the case in entertainment, once an act has served their purpose, they are  chopped, screwed and spat out by the very machine that helped them realize their dreams.

Case point example: Houston.

Rising to fame back in 2004 with ‘I Like That‘ and its follow up ‘Ain’t Nothing Wrong’, his career came to a draw dropping halt after a failed suicide attempt in 2005, but succeeding to tear his left eye out with a plastic fork.

Now, he has spoken openly on his tragic past.
