If ‘Bijoux 22′ was a taste of what the world can expect from ‘Running Blind’ star Elijah Blake, it seems his debut album is set to be the full flavoured main course so many of his fans have been looking forward to.

Billed ‘Songs About Melody’, the project was the only topic of discussion recently, when the chilled singer/songwriter arrived at Billboard HQ to perform not one but two cuts from the piece.

One of these, being his debut effort ‘XOX’ and the second…. ‘Drop Dead Beautiful‘.

In celebrating the tenth anniversary of her debut album ‘Dangerously In Love’, TGJ has billed this week ‘Beyonce Week‘ and has seen us showcase some our favorite moments from the album’s era everyday since Monday.

Today, in what also sees us celebrate one of our heros Nelson Mandela, we unearth footage pulled from 2003’s ‘46664’ concert, named after the prison number Mandela was given when he imprisoned in 1964 and launched to spread awareness for HIV/AIDS in South Africa.

Inspiring to say the least, Beyonce‘s time there saw her meet and aid those affected by the disease up and down and the country, donating time, money and a voice to those who needed it most.

Embattled southern chef Paula Deen has cooked up quite the controversy after her admission of using racial slurs in the past.  Though quickly cancelling a scheduled appearance on the ‘Today Show‘ last week, Deen did visit the award-winning talk series today to once again offer an apology concerning the matter, discuss being dropped from Food Network and other endorsements, and more.

Fresh from channelling her best Rihanna on Jimmy Kimmel last night, Miley Cyrus kept her promo game a’rolling today on Good Morning America.

The 20-year-old continued her “Urban” re-incarnation, serving up live renditions of current smash ‘We Can’t Stop’ and the will.i.am assisted ‘Fall Down’.

With sales of The-Dream‘s latest album ‘IV Play’ quite the nightmare, it figures that the hitmaker would be on edge if or when questioned about it.

It’s a lesson one Twitter commenter learnt the hard way upon confronting the ‘Umbrella’ songwriter on the so-so numbers of the project – which has only sold 43,000 since release last month.

Featuring a number of the Rapper’s closest celeb pals, the footage sees him hard at work days before the album’s July 4th release date. A date, which the MC hopes will see the entire world listen to the project at the same time.

While the likes of Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera used their machines to push and promote meaningful and lasting numbers, Miley Cyrus seems hellbent on using her PR machine to present Hip Hop fuelled hypersexual version of herself…and it isn’t working.
