‘Fading’ singer Rihanna has apologised to fans after cancelling more dates on her latest tour outing.

Citing an illness as her reason for doing so, the star took to her personal Instagram page to reveal why some dates on the ‘Diamonds World Tour’ had been axed…despite the fact she was snapped partying with friends just hours before.

That Grape Juice joined Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams in welcoming the release of ‘Side Effects Of You’, the latest album from ‘Without Me’ singer Fantasia.

Arriving at LA’s London Bridge Studios to enjoy all the album had to offer before it drops on April 23rd, the R&B darlings enjoyed the company of producer Harmony Samuel, as they listened to the release…which we are happy to say is her best yet.

Leona Lewis‘ last album ‘GlassHeart’ may not have hit the right note on the charts, yet the star continues to soar on the live front.

The X Factor graduate has set sail on a European tour in support of the project, which arrived last October. This week saw the trek kick off in Berlin, Germany before a sell-out audience. Four additional German dates remain, thereafter the songbird will make stops in Switzerland, London, and a number of UK cities. Needless to say, get those Euro coins Ms. Lewis!

On a more serious note, though, it’s good to see Leona pressing on during this challenging window in her career – one which has seen her part ways with management and her International profile dim due to not releasing anything globally since 2009. What’s more, one of the benefits of hitting a low is that the only way is up. And while this is more “theoretical” in the music industry (as many acts, once down, end up staying down), the length and breadth of Leona’s talent ensures that she’s one hit (era) away from redemption. Fingers crossed it’s her next.

Chris Tucker is heading to BET!

That’s right, in kicking off the buzz for the ‘BET Awards 2013’, the organisation has announced the ‘Rush Hour’ star is to host this year’s festivities, live from LA’s Nokia Theatre.

Announcing the news, the company’s President of Music Programming Stephen Hill revealed:

“We cannot wait for Chris to set fire to the BET Awards stage with his unique brand of mayhem. We’ve been chasing him for years and we couldn’t be happier that he is hosting the show in this special year: the year we embark on the three–day long BET Experience.”

Taking place on June 28th this year, the event will welcome a plethora of the world’s most celebrated stars to both perform and enjoy all the ‘Experience’ has to offer, two years ‘Kisses Down Low’ singer Kelly Rowland brought the house down with a killer rendition of her single, ‘Motivation‘.

So, until we find out if she’s set to return to the show this year, catch Chris in action above!
